I don't have as much attachment to the dream SMP than many others do but dream in this stream feels like a really well crafted villain with an honestly pretty dark arc for minecraft. Stealing the things people care about the most for control over the server and basically becoming a god is such an interesting concept for a villain.

Wilburs philosophy was always trying to be none violent. He’s impressed. Tommy and Tubbo didn’t kill dream. He’s genuinely proud. They listened to him.

This stream was honestly some of the deepest lore I've ever seen on the SMP. Its so awesome to rewatch everything unfold and know you were in chat when it was live. So I thank Tommy and everyone Included on the stream. Aswell as the fact every single person here has helped Tommy acheive his goal of 10M and it means so much to him. For whoever is exicted to see more new lore streams drop a : WE WANT LORE in the replies to this comment. The lore they planned was so intense, so thrilling and so so so Mindblowing. Everyone in the Dream SMP fandom loves these lore streams and support eachother through though times. These streams have saved so many people from committing suicide and thats honestly so good. Tubbo's line "Yourself." Just hits different. Think about it. He fell for dreams threats and lies hook, line, and sinker, and needlessly exiled his best friend "For the greater good," only for it to backfire horribly. His entire presidency and reputation all ended in one colossal failure because he tried to please a man who couldn't be appeased, and everyone nearly died for it. At this point, Tubbo probably thinks that it's a miracle Tommy still even wants to talk to him, much less still be friends, and he genuinely thinks Tommy's better off without him. Even so, he still tries his best to stay strong for his friend in their final moments. Props to Tubbo for trying his best when everything was falling apart. It's not an easy thing to do.
I would like VOD viewers to know that when Tommy asks Dream "How do you sleep at night?" someone in chat immediately said "with gogy" and after seeing that my life has surely changed for the worse.
New-ish to the fandom and am about to watch this for the first time. I was able to watch the season one finale live and it’ll be so fun to see the parallels it has or doesn’t have with this one. What I’ve seen of this whole story from beginning to recent end has been super amazing and you should be proud. I wish more people appreciated and understood the ending of season one, it was incredible. Those who didn’t get it are missing out.

When he took them to the underground hoard that was honestly the darkest turn this server has ever taken I know it was supposed to be funny but, "That's the one thing Bad cares about" genuinely gave me chills. That's all they are to Dream. Objects. Pawns. The writing on this SMP is superb.
It’s almost poetic how Dream’s lack of attachments was his downfall, and Tommy and Tubbo’s attachments to people is what saved them. Dream was so certain that by driving everyone away and by getting rid of all of his attachments, all of his problems would be fixed and he would win. He isolated himself, and got rid of anything he could have cared about, including people. But Tommy and Tubbo still had their attachments. After being alone and isolated for various periods of time, they know the value of caring about people, and caring about things. They negotiated with others, they talked things out with people, showing a large contrast to their previous fights normally being solved with fighting and force. And ultimately, it’s their attachments to other people that ended up saving them when the rest of the server came to their rescue. And Dream? He had lost all of his attachments to people. He had nobody left to defend him, and he lost. Tommy and Tubbo won not because of brute force, or even fighting strategy, but because of their care for each other and the rest of the server, because of their negotiations with others. Because of their attachments.

Think about it. He fell for dreams threats and lies hook, line, and sinker, and needlessly exiled his best friend "For the greater good," only for it to backfire horribly. His entire presidency and reputation all ended in one colossal failure because he tried to please a man who couldn't be appeased, and everyone nearly died for it. At this point, Tubbo probably thinks that it's a miracle Tommy still even wants to talk to him, much less still be friends, and he genuinely thinks Tommy's better off without him. Even so, he still tries his best to stay strong for his friend in their final moments.
Props to Tubbo for trying his best when everything was falling apart. It's not an easy thing to do.

New-ish to the fandom and am about to watch this for the first time. I was able to watch the season one finale live and it’ll be so fun to see the parallels it has or doesn’t have with this one. What I’ve seen of this whole story from beginning to recent end has been super amazing and you should be proud. I wish more people appreciated and understood the ending of season one, it was incredible. Those who didn’t get it are missing out.

It’s almost poetic how Dream’s lack of attachments was his downfall, and Tommy and Tubbo’s attachments to people is what saved them. Dream was so certain that by driving everyone away and by getting rid of all of his attachments, all of his problems would be fixed and he would win. He isolated himself, and got rid of anything he could have cared about, including people.
But Tommy and Tubbo still had their attachments. After being alone and isolated for various periods of time, they know the value of caring about people, and caring about things. They negotiated with others, they talked things out with people, showing a large contrast to their previous fights normally being solved with fighting and force. And ultimately, it’s their attachments to other people that ended up saving them when the rest of the server came to their rescue.
And Dream? He had lost all of his attachments to people. He had nobody left to defend him, and he lost. Tommy and Tubbo won not because of brute force, or even fighting strategy, but because of their care for each other and the rest of the server, because of their negotiations with others. Because of their attachments.
