Looks like you put in at Betts Park. I live about 25 mins from there. The pond island pond thing has an old dredge in the mille we jump off of in the summer lol.
Way cool. your first stop was Mead Island. Across from that entrance canal is a great spot for northern pike. The water there stays many degrees warmer than the river proper and the fishing is good all winter.
