Love it! We got this song from brother Hezekiah and when we sang it we blessed it every single time (I was9) ❤❤ Choirs in the 90’s had the spunkiest spirit. 💒💒
I know right. You barely hear them! I mean its often old favorites and a few new. Basically its 90% Gospel R&B/Praise&Worship and 10% Choir. We need the choirs again! They really define Gospel Music with their robes and hand clapping and toe tapping and etc etc.
The 90s gave us the last great era of Community Choirs. You could still understand the vocals and the music was there to support the choir not overpower it. Nowadays, I feel bad for the "choirs" that I hear because they don't even understand what the whole thing is about. They're more into being "sweet" than they are into ministering. The material from the 90s remains my favorite of all eras and I can give you a LIST of songs I love from every decade leading up to the 90s. The Brat Pack took all the gems from the 80s and back and put that knowledge to GREAT use.
@@vaughngracey255 Do you intend to any of the current choirs? There are plenty to choose from they have solid messages, with ministry-Minded singers and complimentary bands.
this is some good old gospel . i Remember these days everybody was trying to be john p kee and ever keyboard player was trying to imitate john p kee keyboardist mecche
Jesus is the light my number 1 song i love to play on the organ, back in the 90's Hez Walker & L.F.C.C. The Band,Nate playing baritone sax solo on keys Jason playing drums, Reggie playing bass, Loren playing the organ and clapping his hands they all having good time in the anointing of God!!!
OMG this was played EVERY Sunday night on Video Gospel after Bobby Jones in the early 90's. Right after this used to be O'Landa Draper's "Lift the Savior Up", and Velmer Watkins choir sinking....sinking....sinking.....sinking....
butch heyward put the foundation on the song and loren Dawson playing the organ in the band"LoL" they made me step my whole organ style all the way up in the 90's!!!
I don't know why but for some reason or another I thought they were saying he's the light of the sub way I now know they're say he's the light of the sunlight 😅😊🤣👏📖🤲
Correction... @ bigblac the organists name is not Loren Dawson...his name is Stanley Brown... him and Hezekiah started the LFC choir and currently he is the music director for BET's Sunday's Best
+Shardy Shard You probably thought it was Monique because she was Hez's wife at the time 😂 but back then when Robin was in the group, she either wore something different from the choir or had a special choir robe that was went with what they wore. Robin left the group after the Live in New York album.

This is serious throwback! Pastor Hez had some of THE BEST songs and arrangements of the 90s 🎉 Church was so much fun 😊
It’s the kids at the peak of the stage being joy filled and getting their life for me. The 90s will for ever be imbedded.

Couldn't have said it any better. The best era ever!
And now it has become more of a concert! The message and not the mass of the choir and band should matter as long that the message is heard!
So true. We really need more choirs like this to come back now.
