There are deleted scenes from part one that explored more of Caladan. A bunch of vfx shots were deleted. There was a scene in which Paul was taking a stroll in the forests of Caladan with Atreides soldiers accompanying him. There was also a scene of Paul walking his horse before gifting it to a stable boy on Caladan just before the Atreides left for Arrakis. An extended cut is our only hope.

When I saw this scene in the movie it reminded me of something and I didn't know what. Now I know, it looks a lot like Caspar's "Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog" painting. Anyway, thanks for the video, the atmosphere is perfect and the music is very relaxing. I'm hooked on all the Dune videos you have on your channel.

I wish we could have seen more of Caladan in the first movie.
Even in the first book, they're leaving pretty fast. There is not even this ceremony to announce the emperor's mission, like in the movie.
