I want to know about settlement on expiry date. Suppose i have bought a lot size of 1000 share at 500 strike price and premium 20 rupees. Now on expiry day stock price is 450 rupees. I will get share or i will get 30 rupees difference from my break-even price.

Sir I am watching this options playlist now and it is really very good. I am a part of your iafk family for atleast 2-3 months, even without taking the membership. I am getting so much from here. Thank you sir❤️
Feel Good to learn about Options Strategies. However, I have a query, which is (Query 1): How did you arrive at the Premiums in the example of SBI; (Query 2): Couldn't understand about Premium-coming-to-us Vs Premium going-away-from-us, how do we know that, bcoz in Both cases (Call/ Put selling) I am paying the premium; (Query 3): In the SBI example, while we know our likely-loss limit of 7, BUT I couldn't appreciate what is the range PROFITS, at the end of Expiry Month ? How do we know that and what are the factors which could increase/ decrease our likely-profits? Many Thanks for Education being imparted. You remain Superb in your field. God Bless you.
Very well explained, your videos are great and very neatly organized, I have a doubt, you said that... we can sell a put option at the strike price we want to buy the stock, but if the strike price reached before the expiry so will I be able to exit my position and can buy the stock straight away, or do I have to wait for the expiry day? as I have seen in India we have CE and PE options.
If I wanna use cash secured call how to use this strategy for nifty bees. Can u pls help? I mean to ask to my portfolio how many lots I can sell call options, so that even if markets move aggressively upward I shld compensate from my portfolio income the loss generated in call option. Pls suggest
sir agar 160strike price ka sbi mene put sell kiya he aur last date of expiry me sbi ka price he 180 means out of money to muje position convert(put buy) karna padega expiry date se pahle ya kuch nahi karna he. plz sir bataye me confused hu
Sir I have a doubt In 1st example, if Price of SBI is 200 rs on expiry day, we may have loss of 17 rs. 🌸As loss on selling option (sell @ 9 buy @ 20) will be 11rs 🌸 loss on buying of option ( buy @ 6 sell @ 0) will be 6 rs. So net Loss will be 6+11=17 rs. Am I ri8? Nd please correct me sir if I have made any mistake.
Mehul .. in first example he sold a call at 190 and if strike price is 200 .. then there would be loss of 10 rs.. u have already received 3 rs premium it means loss of 10-3 = 3 and moreover 200 buy call will be in at the money means 0. Hence net loss 7
Hello Sir agar ek option put put buy kiya 2*100 lot 2000 one lot buy kiya kuch time baad 2 down ho gya expired date se phele to mera 2000 investment loss ho jaye ga please reply Sir
If you sell 1 lot of option and 1buy one lot of option then the open interest will be increased by 1 , you don't have to calculate it you will get it on the nse website

Important extra advantage of the strategy, not highlighted in the video, is reduced margin required.

I just want to start in F&O.. please make videos for beginners too
Can i know how did u count Max.Losss 7 ? Can you Explain us.
Difference of rs. 10 between buy and sell strike price and u earned 3 rs premium hence max loss 7 rs
This is in the scenario where rate becomes 200. In that case u will be incurring loss of 10₹ in settlement of ur call sell option.

Your explanation is soo good.but we are not able to understand.. please explain in English
Sir I have a doubt
In 1st example, if Price of SBI is 200 rs on expiry day, we may have loss of 17 rs.
🌸As loss on selling option (sell @ 9 buy @ 20) will be 11rs
🌸 loss on buying of option ( buy @ 6 sell @ 0) will be 6 rs.
So net Loss will be 6+11=17 rs.
Am I ri8?
Nd please correct me sir if I have made any mistake.
-1 hoga first case mai...not -11....basics clear karo n then watch bro... total max loss 7 rupees
Mehul .. in first example he sold a call at 190 and if strike price is 200 .. then there would be loss of 10 rs.. u have already received 3 rs premium it means loss of 10-3 = 3 and moreover 200 buy call will be in at the money means 0.
Hence net loss 7
