I'm 18 now but I still show-off whenever my train skips a station, railway crossing or another train at 130kmph (with continuous horn❤️).🔥❤️🔥 Power 🔥❤️🔥
Can you imagine the joy and ecstasy felt by the Loco Pilot when he crossed this bridge with such speed and rhythm? At the same time he also feels his responsibility, and he feels proud.
I don't think the Duronto is overspeeding, it probably has special clearance of sorts. I am as surprised at you, I have traveled on this route for the last 20 odd-years and never experienced such high speeds, even on Rajdhanis so yes, this was crazy! :)
We were about 40 minutes delayed and were halted after Dum Dum for a bit but yes, the speed on the bridge was kind of insane. I had never expected it to go like this, never encountered such speed over 20 years of traveling on this stretch...
Terrific speed through the bridge. Was your train on time? Did it get to SDAH without any halts after this? Brought back memories of my ASR-KOAA trip last year. We crawled on this bridge though.
Extra-Ordinary. Never Seen Before any train over Vivekananda Bridge at 100kmph. Is this Old bridge capable of handling 100kmph or Duronto's Overspeeding!!
Technically yes and thanks for putting it out, i heard from my father that drivers tend to accelerate more quickly while crossing stations because they have more confidence on that home stretch (from outer signal to home signal) rather than a lone stretch. The home stretch is where driver can simply see & trust all the lights ( from Stn. Master to Gate Man ) and accelerate blindly. While accelerating a lone stretch means drivers have to be extra cautious both with train, tracks and surroundings.
So how do you expect to 'go by the timetable' in estimating the delay of a train? Should we add 1 hour to running time, or 2 hours, or 45 minutes, or 90 minutes? One can't do that because there is no way in saying that the train will definitely be x minutes late. I guess you have found the train 1 hour+ late each time, in my case, it was only 40 minutes. So we have no option but to take average speed, as given by commercial TT, and going by that, it is now faster that BPL Shatabdi. :)
Dakshineshwar Temple is not of Ramakrishna (as in subtitles) Belur 'Math' on the other Bank was founded by Shri. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. (I've never been to Calcutta so far)
Nope - Ramakrishna never got to see Belur Math - it happened after his death. He was a lifelong pujari at Dakshineshwar. The temple itself was founded by Rani Rashmoni.
You are however not answering my question. Timetables do have a number of anomalies in them but what alternative do we have? Let passengers create their own timetables? Today you are saying Goa SK reaches Delhi at 2110. How many days have you seen that? If it is 100 days in 1 year, that's a good observation. If it is 5 days in 1 year, it is random chance. We have to go by some standardization, even if it is wrong, then at least we know the level of error.
Ha it only slows down after Kanpur Central and moves like shit after Gaziabad, if you boarded this train from New Delhi then you will see how shitty this train is! With all the Rajdhanis running before this train
okzz i agree to u smewhat... bt i still stand on my side... considering trains speed on basis of avg speed is stupidity... it shud always be on basis of Running TT... peace
The wrst duronto....always late 1+ hr late.... Zero punctuality... bt nice video... nd fastest train is BPL shatbdi only.. why u taking avg speed into consideration.... if ur taking avg speed... den dunno go by TT.... coz it nvr reaches on time.... go by time taken to cmplete the journey... if ur taking avg speed
As a kid when I used to do train journeys I always felt the Driver accelerated when approaching small stations etc to show off 😉
We all assumed that it was driver who was supreme authority of train's velocity and acceleration...Life was so simple that time...😀
