    Good review as always, guys. Although a slighter older iteration, I've had a Martin Dreadnought Jr.e (without the 10 in the model name) for about three years and couldn't be more pleased with it. Such good tone for a small guitar, considerably better than its competitors and the nut width is very accommodating for fingerpicking.

    Wow! Impressive sounding and great picking!

    Cooper, this is some of your best playing, IMHO; a bit slower, more evocative and listenable. Bravo!

    I like the bright and airy tone from 000.

    Thanks for the nice video! Between the Martin 000CJR-10E StreetMaster and OOO-10E if tone is the priority would you say is better to go for the more expensive and slightly bigger model? I'm not sure is worth the extra cash. I would have to make a more careful comparison my self. But some input is always appreciated. Has anybody made such a comparison?

    I’m more of a cutaway fan but I like the tones from the dreadnought more. Both are great I’m sure. Gotta love a good solid body though. Great review as always

    Great review! How would you compare the sound to a Journey travel guitar where the neck detaches or other similar type travel guitars?

    Dreamy playing from Cooper. Very nice.

  • @scottbecker3485
    @scottbecker3485 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Very interesting - thanks! I wonder which version would still retain enough highs to sound good when tuned down to C# standard - naturally with thicker-gauge strings so they aren’t too slack?

    That’s the kinda smooth guitar jamming i imagine myself playing , however, reality is somewhat miles apart. Those skills are so inspiring that I feel inspired to leave my guitar where it is and spare people from any danger of hearing me twang away blaming my guitar for my lack of talent. But, as we can all dream, I’ll still be contemplating whether or not to go for one of these Martin’s or the gs mini. I’m drawn to the Martin jnrs, but the gs mini sounds mega easy to play . But laminate back and sides on the gs mini puts me off. I have an Australian Maton dreadnought which is built so nice and looks so good, but I jjst find it too big and I’m not a fan of the Maton sound or playability even though they’re highly rated over here in oz. Something about the Martin guitars that has that sound I think of that is what lured me into wanting to learn how to play.
    Not to mention cobain used a Martin in the unplugged set. Higher end model and different model altogether I know but still, yknow what I’m sayin.
    Great playing great vid dudes thanks

    Sweet some mini Martin mahoganies. Well, Sapele. One question about the guitars. Are they richlite fretboards/bridge??

    This video was very helpful. This week, I purchased the OOOC-10E Jr. I was torn between this and the Street Master version. I couldn't see paying an extra $100 for the Street Master version. It would be nice to see a comparison review.

    The 000 is really a wonderful guitar
    However, the gig bag is extremely disappointing...

      @ricksweitzer7155 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Martin should be ashamed of that cheesy gig bag. It's like a wet t shirt. Take a lesson from Taylor Martin..gs mini bag is excellent.

    • @SuperMeirmeir
      @SuperMeirmeir 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually, got a used gs mini gig bag for it.

    • @sonoma_s
      @sonoma_s 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ricksweitzer7155 totally agree. Just got the 000jr streetmaster. I was shocked at how cheap bag was for money. I also have GS mini and bag much better. I had to buy mono bag for travel. Yes, Martin can do better. Guitar is great and I actually love. Martin, please at least take a bit off of your margins or increase price a bit more so we can have reasonable travel bag for a really great guitar for travel. Fits nicely in overhead, even on smaller regional jets. I have never been asked to check…so far🤞🤞🤞

    Would you recommend this for your 1 and only acoustic? I play gigs 2-3 times a week with a keyboard and drums, would this be a good fit for that? 000cjr specifically

    Just notice the fret markers. What's up with no marker at the 3rd and double marker at the 7th. Why? C'mon Martin

  • @SpurOne76

    The richlite fret board sounds and feels great. Richlite is actually more expensive than ebony . . . Nothing to sneeze at, as always, Martin knows what they are doing here.

    • @doglover31418

      They want the 6's to get scratched. They think it looks cool.

    I could hear the compression from the sepele top, and the 000CJR sounded brighter and clearer to me. I have a Taylor A10e that I like better sonically.

      @JesseDylanMusic ปีที่แล้ว

      Holy cow bro. I’ve watched so many of their videos, rarely any of their Taylor videos. It’s totally legit to mention Taylor here since they have comparable items in this niche.

    • @michaelstaeheli1598
      @michaelstaeheli1598 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nobody denies that Martin makes great guitars, but it is only in the last few years that they had anything new to market. So they deserve to be applauded for their innovations. Why do they have to innovate? Taylor! Let’s give them both credit.

    So, when will Martin make a ukulele bass. Heh heh

  • @JesseDylanMusic
    @JesseDylanMusic ปีที่แล้ว

    These basses sound great unplugged, but the piezo under saddle sounds awful plugged in. I’d prefer an electric pickup. Then you get the lightness, small size, playability, but the electric bass sound. Sound great unplugged, tho.

    Distressed finish so it looks like somebody's been playing it on the streets for ten years and a plastic fretboard and relatively expensive for what you're getting. Hmm, not sure about these
