Tom, you KNOW that diving is so much mental as it is physical stamina, strength, and fortitude. After years of being in the pool, and winning medals anyone would want to take a step back to enjoy life, and revel in the success of your youth. BUT, someone once said "an Olympian is always an Olympian"...it gets into your soul, it's in your blood...and your son knows that you use to dive before, and of course he will want his parent to get back in the pool. You seem to be in pretty good shape physically, perhaps have to step it back up a bit, but we know you have the ability to stick to the needed regimen...now it is just the mental aspect...put your toe back in the pool, then see if you want to splash back in totally....I may be an American, but I would absolutely LOVE to see you stand on an Olympic podium again...whether for us or the UK...doesn't matter! And it would mean so much for "older" athletes...I mean I am sure your Idol Greg Louganis would be supportive as well. Good luck in whatever you decide...because frankly you would also make a FANTASTIC coach!!!!

They adopted another baby, not “had”. Biologically that’s impossible.
