Good Stuff 👍. I went thru my father's trucker hats 1-2 yr ago . Trashed Abt half. Still have half somewhere ! I don't even know what I saved. But my favorite one I have hanging with my hats is one my father had made . He only had a handful made and I think I have his version. I should have two but I don't. It's a screen print of him driving his riding mower with a wagon full of drunks and kids on it that he would take on rides ! It's has Ponderosa Party Hat written on it !!! Best hat Ever !! My daddy was a life of the party !!! Miss him a lot 😭
Wow Kyle is very impressive wish all of our younger generation would have his work ethic ❤ great interview Jacob thank you again for sharing your vendors with us ❤
Jacob, you are NAILING this You Tube thing!! Your wife is gorgeous, and I LOVE how interested you are in helping kids learn your business! I’m so thrilled for your rise in popularity and presence on line!! Thanks to Jocelyn for bringing you on board!! AWESOME from Xenia!!!
Jacob, you are a great interviewer. I loved listening to Kyle and how knowledgeable he is already about the business! It’s great you’re supporting him.
Great interview. Jacob you're such a nice guy. You're like a mentor I've noticed when talking with the younger generations. You're inspiring to many no doubt. I wish Kyle great success. I think he has a prosperous future. A lot of people like the types of items he sells. 👍 ♡
What a great interview. So refreshing to see the young people who know what they want to do. Tell Kyle I have three Nieces that show. One also shows in Louisville.
Hats: relatively inexpensive, colorful graphics, easy to flip ... not my thing but I get it. Buy stuff that wasn't meant to survive but somehow did is the name of his game. I heard another young guy thinking beach towels could be a hot item next; the graphics may be the attraction. The 3x margin sounds right to me too, even for eBay. Actually especially for eBay.
So true. I went to an estate auction 20 years ago and they had a box full of empty Mrs. Butterworth syrup bottles. More surprising than the fact that someone had saved all the bottles for years was the fact that someone paid good money to buy them. Turns out that crafters were knitting or crocheting dresses for them. The buyer was thrilled to get a bunch of stock quickly to capitalize on the trend, rather than having to wait for her family to eat a ton of pancakes. That's true for many crafters. You can sell bags of corks or empty spools to someone who saw a pattern for a cool diy project but who doesn't want to wait for years to collect the materials needed. My family laughs at me for saving poptops, but when I'm finally ready to make a purse out of them, I will have the thousands that I need. 😂
