I don’t know if you’re into non-fiction, but I know you like impactful/emotional stories and I think you’d really like to read “Half the Sky” and “Not That Bad”. They’re both very raw and insightful, though hard to read at times due to the content. I really think you’d like to read them, not so much for entertainment but for the awareness they bring.

Oh my gosh please read You. It is one of the best books I've ever read. And I'd recommend listening to it on audiobook. It's read by Santino Fontana who was the voice of Hans from Frozen. It's so eerie, especially considering the POV.

Basically I’m rambling but I think all of the books in this haul sound amazing and I think I will wind up reading all of them.
You is one of my favorite books. I think it is great, the second person narrative is perfect for this book, so creepy but well done. The best thing, to me, about this book is how Caroline Kepnes was able to write Joe in a way in which you simultaneous love and hate him. You know you shouldn't like him and don't want him to succeed in stalking BUT you also can't help but cheer him on with winning Beck over. It is really an interesting, well written book that makes you question everything.
That’s a very nice haul! Also I had no clue that Leila Sales had another book but I loved This Song Will Save Your Life so I will definitely check it out! Also I’m super excited for Grim Lovelies because of the dark Parisian supernatural feel! I feel like it will be an awesome read! I’m also super excited for All of This is True as I heard amazing things about it! I bought 5 books in June which was Scythe (for my friend not for me), Speak (I had to get a copy for myself), Furthermore, An Ember in the Ashes and A Torch Against the Night and I can’t wait to get into them! Great video!
I freaking love They Both Die at the End. My teacher read it out loud in my 8th grade language arts class, which was last year, and I loved it. The ending shook me and I almost started crying in class from it. But I didn’t cuz I held it in, but when I got home I reread the ending and just bawled my eyes out

Hi Emma! This HP edition is actually the first one that came out in French (published between 1999 and 2007, compared to 1997 to 2007 for the English first edition). I read this version when I was a young adult. Being french Canadian, I can tell that you can speek well in that language ❤️

Those French versions of Harry Potter look so nice. I was just at school and sadly had to drop French out of my schedule to make space for my dual enrollment classes, but I think I’m going to keep self-studying it since I want to become more fluent.
Wow, those French editions of The Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows are huge! Mine are quite small and I need to start reading them again as well. Thanks to one of my French teachers, I remember reading a French copy of either The Philosopher's Stone or Prisoner of Azkaban when I was at school and I loved it, so it will be great to get back into reading French again at some point.

A story in charlotte was my favorite! I also read the last of August and have to say i agree with you that I was disappointed by it. But the first book was amazing!
If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say sounds like something I'd pick up. Not too long ago one of my favorite teachers posted something sarcastic online and it was blown way out of proportion. His life has been ruined by that post. He lost his job and moved to a different state only to be fired again when the school found out about what happened. It hit me hard to hear he recieved hate and death threats. His life was just starting after he had survived cancer and moved into a new house. Really put everything into perspective for me.
My favorite middle grade series is The School for Good and Evil by Sonan Chainani I would highly recommend it, it’s a fantasy series that has ya themes
I'm currently reading In the Afterlight right now and just pre ordered The Darkest Legacy today! The Darkest Minds series in one of the most amazing series I've read and I can't wait for the movie!

I didn't know you could speak and read French, that's amazing!! if you want to read more books in French, I wouldn't recommend reading a translated work, this is definitely not as authentic. French is a very rich language which is why literature has become such a great part of our heritage and culture, and we have infinite choices of French books, including in YA!! If you're interested, I would suggest authors such as Anne Laure Bondoux or Marie Aude Murail in contemporary, and Charlotte Bousquet, Christelle Dabos or Victor Dixen in sci-fi / fantasy :) cheers from France!!
