18:25 to clarify Amari was saying if you feel that strongly against gays then you shouldn’t have voted for Obama: a progressive president who stamped his approval on something that was taboo. Meaning when you supported him you supported his ideas and he’s in support of the LGBT community by stamping approval of gay marriage.

We do have to be the bigger person at times with our parents because for one you want to be respected as an adult by them so don’t try to son yourself when shit gets real, and two, we have more information as to mental health and just being yourself without worrying what others think and our parents generation does not have that so it’s really compassion to be the bigger person with your parents
