Anyone else here agrees with Toast that Arena is an abomination? Cause Every Fuckin time I try it, I get the most garbage of cards during the draft. And when I do get good cards, my opponent has way better ones that just steamrolls me.

Yes, summoning minions counts for the quest. But then you would have another minion (Amara) that can be resurrected by the spellstone, so your chance of actually pulling off the combo decreases.

I'm guessing it's because it removes a lot of the RNG in the deck, making it more reliable. Lyra's fun, but when you get 3 Mindblasts (**edit MindCONTROLS) in a row when you need low cost cards, thats when you start wishing you played an auctioneer instead. (I play with Lyra though, is more fun)
Additional minions decrease the chance to pull off the combo. And for this deck to work you need specific spells and specific minions. Lyra wouldn't help with that at all.
I currently run one that does not run Shadowreaper Anduin. It would be much better with it of course, I'm trying to run Malygos instead. Great synergy with spirit lash. (Boardclear, Mally survives, you get healed by 30 hp if there are 5 minions on the board.)
I'm a big fan of Toast and made both. I actually have several versions of them as I dont have the legendaries and try to compensate as best as my noob brain can. I gotta agree, the Lyra deck with 1 Auctioneer was pretty good. I use it still, but the win conditions are draw based or rng based. This one is much more reliable, but with 1 drawback... you have to get loot horder or the coin gargoyle by like... turn 7. if I dont get them by turn 7-9 I think I have 80% loss. I dont know how to compensate, its rogues and odd warlocks that get me. so thinking maybe 1 more SW:D... But yea. Lyra's my fav Legendary by far. I still keep 4 decks based around her.

... or he could have gone radiant, greater dimand spell stone, hero power the auctioneer. Then go into playing the rest of the spells with the coin

Spellstone only revives different minions. So he can't get more than 1 loot or Gargoyle. He only had 4 different dead minions too
