It's the Automatons, back at it again, conquered an entire sector including Cyberstan which they have been chanting about for forever, they attacked 6 more planets in two other sectors, opening all 6 up for offensives, 3 of which we have to defend from them.
that wasn't an automaton, that was a cyborg and that was waaaaaaaaay back in the first galactic war. and the baby at the end i think was just the bots referencing back to this moment in our history.

No longer will it be necessary to reapply freedom planets on the previously automaton-contested star systems. It is only a matter of time before the terminid threat is similarly brought to heel.
It was a distraction. The real fleet is on their way to their homeplanet, using Super Earth F&F transponders to take over their planet and those surrounding, without us noticing
A pretty accurate representation of Helldive difficulty actually. XD The best touch you coulda done NCH is that at the end, instead of the baby exploding, it fired a flare. Cause that straggler is ALWAYS there and ALWAYS has a bloody flare ready. XD
Look like Hulk Scorcher is so hurry to the final war, he put buzzsaw and flamethrower on the wrong hands. XD (I know too well because I always keep shooting the Flamethrower arm first)
nah, its more of 2D perspective to show the melee weapon "outside" and the range weapon "inside" if the sprite is converted into game asset, the saw blade will have the range/hitbox to hit(as its "outside" of the body) while the gun inside dosen't need the range of the melee weapon.
@@twistsnakeanklesvids261 its also more to facilitate easier animation on the sprite so technically I dont need to draw "additional new frames" just to show the mech lunging its body forward(perspective rotation) just for the buzz saw to "reach out" to attack. of course if its a 3D model asset that wouldn't be an issue, but 2D means needing to draw new stuff manually.
Fighting the Automatons in Helldivers 2 and taking part in the campaign to defeat them has been one of the best gaming moments I have had the pleasure of experiencing in years!!!
Always love your stuff, haven't played long enough to get to know the bots, so instead of the straggler I was expecting a Diver to come up behind them & call down a Hell Bomb on them but I think thos ending is just as satisfying. Lol
yesterday when playing we were stuck with encrypted drives oinned by a non stop onslaught of partolls and thier dropships for atleast 20 minutes. We were 5 seconds late to complete the mission since the shuttle left with less than 3% upload remaining
Now that the robots are defeated, all I can think about now is one of the Helldivers going back to one of the Terminid planets and sweeping the nearest bug off their feet like that one famous photo of that US soldier returning home after the end of WWII.

They dropped 4 hulks on me at the start of the mission certainly a bruh moment
I was thinking it's kinda nuts that this isn't an unusual number of bots.

Honestly, after playing both side on HELLDIVER I prefer the bots.
My fitst ever mission was on the bot side to evacuate civilians and i stil din't knew how to play... it was bad.
