As cool as Dies Irae is, I always thought it was a little campy growing up to use such a well known song for the scene. But I watched it recently and now actually knowing the subject matter of the song plus Kurt's devout faith makes this the perfect song

Ottman's added percussion is amazing, though. You can hear the snare drums, trumpet flares, etc. It's exceptionally well done.
