I hate that your lens broke. I had to learn the hard way replacing so much equipment. I wish someone told me what I'm going to tell you. Get a personal articles policy with your insurance company. it's like $6-8 a month and covers your cameras, lens etc. I had 2 cameras repaired and they paid $100% of the cost for both. Thank GOD for your warranty
