I was in Medellin a couple of years ago. Had a place in El Pablado. You're right, the people are very simpatico. Was also in Rio Negro. The next time I visit I will try to get a place in Rio negro. I really like that village atmosphere. By the way the L in Medellin is pronounced as a J, so It sounds like Medijean. I didn't know that either until I got there. Congrats on all of your success.

Will, this is ya boy watching in Japan. I lived in Panama for 6 months as a Marine in the 80's. South America is absolutely awesome.....and I lived in the Philippines as a Marine...Just wow! Keep it moving bro..I got my eye on a place in Ghana and South Africa....and here in Japan where I live now!

Love to see another brother building in Medellin. I build a mansion in Rio Negro for 1 million, it only took a year and once it was finished it appraised for 2.3 million. You can never get that in America. Wishing you more success! ✊🏽

I love Medellin, the surrounding areas, the culture and people.
You gotta check out Envigado and Sabaneta. These two cities have breathtaking mountain views and friendly Colombians. I'm happy for you and hope you enjoy living in Medellin.

I have owned a home in Bogota, Colombia for a few years. Colombia has gotten very dangerous since COVID. A lot of ex-pats have been killed or robbed there in the last 18 months, so be careful. I think Brazil is a much better investment than Colombia right now and when the time is right I am selling my house there and buying something in Portugal or Brazil. Be very careful and safe ( Congrats)!

@@WillMotivation I have never had a problem in other city; however, I feel much safer in Brazil hands down since covid. The crime has increased tremendously and although I have had no issues in Bogotá, Cartagena or Medellin - I see, hear and read about a lot of crime since covid. I feel the safest In Cartagena without a doubt. In Medellin I watch very carefully how I move. Before Covid it was my favorite place to be mainly for the women! 😂
I agree with you, Brazil is a nice place and more safer than Colombia. I'm from south America.
Other countries are better like Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, but there are not American people from USA living there.
@@isabellediaz2281 Absolutely. Anyone who thinks otherwise definitely hasn't been keeping up with the happenings in Colombia. Unfortunately I do not expect it to improve anytime soon. Brazil is wealthier country with more opportunities to work and earn a living. So, you don't see anywhere near the violence, crime, or petty theft as you do in Colombia. I feel much safer in Brazil and I have been all over Brazil - outside of the major cities. Obviously, foreign travelers have to be wise and careful no matter where they travel. You just have to especially be careful in Colombia and do not venture out into the wrong areas alone. I really hope things in improve in Colombia ; I think it is a wonderful ( and beautiful) country.
