It's 2023 and I am still coming back for this solo
Arjen is my favorite musician by far. I love everything this guy makes. Ayreon has two of my all time favorite albums. Not only are his instrumentals amazing, but he picks the best musicians he can, many of which I was never familiar with! I hope he lives a long life and never stops making music.

Arjen will live forever whether he wants to or not. He is part of us all now.
Arjen is....Arjen. Unique. Thank you for composing such great music, creating huge emotions and to have revealed so many awesome musicians and singers.
Anneke is being very popular among genius musicians nowadays. Devin Townsend, Arjen Lucassen. She'll never get old.
Waiting for Arjen to release a new album is always such a fun feeling!
From the moment I heard "actual fantasy" in a high-school Arjen music fascinated me and never let go. In fact even more so he gives me strength and encouragement to fight for my own personal music project.Even thou life conditions in my country are very difficult, I spare every cent for years fighting for my little piece of heaven,my humble home studio.
Please keep making this wonderful music.I barely waiting to get my hands and ears on Gentle Storm. ;)

I have literally been searching for days for a video where someone says Arjen's name out loud. I've always wondered if I was pronouncing it right. lol.
But seriously, Arjen is the best musician on earth. In an older video, he talked about how he once wanted to be the best guitarist in the world - but he's gone way past that. He doesn't just play an instrument, he takes a concept and makes it into something we can all understand. Any time I see Arjen's name attached to a project, I know it's going to be incredible - and you can't usually say that about any individual instrument player or singer. (Not to diminish the work of the bands - some contributors are among my all time favorites)
I'm honestly not too familiar with Anneke, but I like what I hear so far. I'm definitely getting the album as soon as it's available in the U.S.!

***** Ah, very good to know! I was just listening to Mirror of Dreams earlier and it sounds beautiful. It's always refreshing to hear other instruments besides just guitars, keyboards, etc. In fact, I should mention you were the main inspiration for me when I started playing mandolin.

The Solo is better than all solos on PF "The Endless River". Sounds very Floydy :) Prog On
Very good sound again........strange thought from my site, but a musicus cooperation with Robbie Valentine could be very interresting. Different styles but your both are talented musicians from my point of view. Some musical feelings from my youth i guess ;-)......keep on doing what you do....cheers

The guitar tone on the Storm version is just awesome, both the heavy stuff and solos. Are you still using Hot amps? Also what pickups do you have in that red strat? Cheers!
