Hi Cara and Danielle, really nice video. Your rigs and trailer look amazing! The scenery and water looked so good. Thank you for sharing this adventure! 🚗🚙
Oh my... wow what a spot... I recently started following this community, but there are 2 creators who really stand out. You all are one of them, i love the videos you all share with us.
Another great video. I hadn't considered taking the paddle board up into the mountains, but that seems like such a great break from "normal" camp stuff.
No wild brown bears in California, for sure. The last one was shot in the early 1900s. Not sure about Nevada, but I suspect that it’s the same, at least in the Tahoe area. That said, I have seen bears in the region that I would swear were brown bears if not for the location. Black bears come in a wide range of colors, including shades that are identical to your typical brown/grizzly bear.
Bowman lake is a beautiful lake but it is an extremely popular lake unfortunately, but just past it is sawmill lake and it just as beautiful. It’s a a little smaller but still beautiful
@@frenchie4wd yes sawmill is beautiful, and you have a bigger lake also meadow lake. Lots of history on it. Pretty much same trail just farther up!!! Great video !!
Great video, as always! Loving those views! We might have to go there some day! Update! We have gotten our first RTT and Bed Rack in finally! will be mounting them this week hopefully
I've upgraded all my steering components to Steer Smarts, Teraflex Ball Joints (factory ones didn't last 10k miles on my original 37s) Axels are all stock except diff covers.
Hey matt abd kara. Great to see you back together again. If you come through Montrose on your way to Durango i would live to show you around or meet you. Im in very convenient location for a quick meet and greet see ya later Kind of thing.
I’ve been alternating each week from our different solo trips. My last solo video in this series comes out this Friday and then the next Friday we are back together again.
As an overloading couple from Colorado, we enjoy seeing the dynamic of you both together and the trails you choose here while in our state - not trying to criticize at all, just miss seeing you both together and look forward to your new episodes : )
I have to say. I like your separate videos much better than Matt's. They are more naturally fun because of the boisterous side, only a couple right brained artistic ladies can give it. Guys just don't think of filming what you do.
Wow, that one hill was sketch, particularly with a trailer. Trying to get my wife to watch you, but think you may be a little to hard core for her though. Good job.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures haha my baby mama once told me that being a trucker was the best job I could have. I come home when she’s really missing me, and I go back to work when I’m starting to get annoying.
Let’s see how long until places like this are off limits. With the rise in popularity of off-roading, trails and even public lands all over the country are being closed to vehicle traffic. The culprits are not HOAs, Karens, or nosy seniors. It’s morons that tear up trails, destroy neighboring land off trail, and leave garbage everywhere. I blame TH-camrs and IG. Social media has brought out the worst in us.
enjoy your channel. Watch most of your videos. But after listening to minutes of the curly-headed complainer constantly complaining about the Dust, I had to move on.
Totally fine. It was a very small portion of the entire video and I thought it was funny which is why I kept it in the video, but if that bothers you, you are free to move on.
Got to love an episode that starts with Goose!
Awesome video. Was just showing this to my wife. You all do a great job inspiring ladies to get out there.
Awesome! Thank you!

Thanks!! highly recommend!!
What a fun trip!! That camping spot by the lake was everything!!!
Did not want to leave!!
The Redwoods, how about the campground Swimmers delight? You included Patty, Chief and me. Cool shout-out.
Thanks so much!!!
Excellent video girls!!
Best one yet. 👍🏻
Thanks so much! 😊
It's very beautiful there. I was raised in California and spent my summers there in the mountains!! Know I live in Indiana.
So Beautiful Thank you ladies .
that is some beautiful water.
Awesome job on the video ladies

It was a brown colored black bear.

Awesome job getting out!
The flume’s are to help direct water through so PG&E (our power company here in CA) can run it through their hydroelectric stations.
Love this!

I second this statement
Just another reason to go back!

“Some drunk guy tore up the trail” then 27:41 haha

Heck yeah!!!!
That dam like things . I have something like that by my house they in here to prevent flooding
That was a black bear. They also have brown coats and can get fairly large.
Bowman is cool but super crowded, should have kept going to sawmill lake
It wasn’t crowded at all for us!!
Helps to travel during the week.
Better video than Matt.
.😅 water beautiful.
It’s mine and Cara’s YT channel now. We are just hiring Matt out for the editing.
With the lift and larger tires, has anything else been done to beef up the axles, diff covers, front suspension components, ball joints? Thanks.

Bowman gets super busy. Unfortunately the drunks are the norm out there.😔
Great views. Please adjust the audio though, can’t hear what is being said without turning the volume up and down up and down.
Sorry. Sounded good on my computer when editing it.
I’m a chronic mumbler. That’s likely the problem. 😂
There have been a lot of girl trips lately. Miss seeing Matt included.

It must be nice, getting a break from Matt, once in a while ;)

Yes it’s all our fault. We are evil. 🤦🏼♂️😂😂
@11:25 if only it wasn't in California
California would be great if you left out their politics, crazy laws and the lunatics. I lived there back in the early 90s
@grywolf1973 oh I completely agree. I was born there and it hurts my heart to see what it has turned in to.
Okay.
