I've grown up loving jurassic park, but now with my almost 3yr old being dino obsessed loving Camp Cretaceous and the jurassic world toy line (which I also love), we've started acquiring quite the dinosaur toy collection. But I recently found the amber collection which will be my collection exclusively as I love the nostalgia of the jurassic park. Just found your channel, me AND my boy Daniel love it.

Did you consider putting some metalic silver paint on the side mirrors to make them look like they actually have mirrors in them?
I just picked the set up. Awesome video and modification. I've followed your instagram from awhile and didn't know you had a TH-cam. I checked this out and subscribed. I may have to do this modification, it makes the Jeep so much better. Not sure if I'd be able to do it or not though. The wheels alone would make it better though. I'll have to try to hunt one of those down and swap them out.
The red stripe doesn't bother me so much but I can't understand why Mattel went out of their way to remove the tow cable from the front! They actually had to mold a totally new part rather than re-use the existing working tow cable. Even though it was Nedry's jeep that used the tow cable in the movie! Why remove it? Such an odd decision on mattels part.
This was amazing, but it's so damn ridiculous that people even have to do this. Mattel could have done this shit in the factory! Sick of companies half-asking their products when they literally have everything they need to make it perfect.
Very nice! How would you go about changing the vehicle number? Im looking to modify this jeep to make the #18 and #29, I already 3D printed a roll cage that fits into place and am thinking that is easier then trying to add the side mirors and spare tire
I took a spare #18 Jeep (eBay buy), swapped out the undercarriage with the wheels and winch, painted the little tan area behind the windshield on #12, and the roll bars on it are now black as well as the steps and wipers. Even blackened the "open" areas inside the spare tire and the grill openings with a black sharpee. If you disassemble both a little more, you can swap out #18's windshield piece that has a dark colored dashboard and steering wheel for #12's clear colored dashboard. Also, the red/orange bar in front of the windshield with the black painted vent area by the wipers can be swapped out as well without painting the black on the swapped out piece. I just messed up my two red/orange stripes a bit but have another #12 to redo at some point. Anyone willing to paint the two stripes for me? I'll pay! :o)

Finally working on mine. I found that Citadel’s Evil Sunz Scarlet is also a perfect match for the stripe.

Best way to acheive this is cutting small piece of reflective heat vent tape thats what I did on my custom Muldoon Jeep

hey ted brothers, I've got two jeep 18s and I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the numbering on them (to add the other jeep numbers)
Can I just forget about the both the lettering on the tires and the working wench, because most of the 2018 jeeps cost around 80-90 dollars.
