"I'm doing Anthony Hopkins!" Always hilarious when Rob does that impression joke.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview with Andy, fascinating and enlightening. What a nice man. Rob knows how to get an unforced marvellous interview. Kudos.
Rob continues to be one of the best, most natural interviewers around. Always a joy to watch he seems to make every interviewee feel completely at ease.
Seems like quite a likeable, humble guy. I remember seeing Parsons and Naylor in the mid 90’s at the Fringe and it was really excellent.
Same - I had totally forgotten about them as a double act, but just the name brought it back! 🤯😳
Like Rob, I can no longer rely on just my memory alone..! 😅
Might need to track down my old MySpace page of films & comedy I heartily recommended everyone to see. Seems I might need those recommendations too now!
Rob Brydon, you’re just such a joy to listen to and you are a good listener too.
Love Andy Parsons. Have missed him in recent years. Will look out for him 😘
Nice to see Andy looking well, haven’t seen or heard much of him since his Mock the Week days.
I'm with you on writing things down Rob. I have a notebook by my bed because ideas come to me in the night. And sometimes weird dreams
Superb... only know Andy from mtw so it's nice to see him in this great interview 😊
Week Ending bloody brilliant! And Radio Active!
Fascinating discussion on the process of writing from 19:58 👏😊
Brilliant conversation
I love Kingsbridge and that whole area. Many summer holidays there as both sets of grandparents lived in Kingsbridge and Brixham. You'd love Mill Bay beach, opposite Salcombe
Another enjoyable interview thanks guys
Thanks guys. Another fabulous insight! 😃
Made my day.......ta chaps!
Cheers from the States. Much appreciated.
Another super one, thanks
Would love it if you got Chris Barrie on for a chat! 😁
Nice to see an unscripted, casual chat.
It would be cheating if it was written down
Short! ...No, not you, Rob - the in'aview. Nice - and the impression was the cherry on top
Griff Rhys Jones is looking well
First saw Andy Parson on Mock and thought he was a very important character on that show, lost interest after he left,...even though when I could understand Dara, he is a also a fine character. Andy's timing and tone added so much.
Humour is a very personal thing, and personally I think Andy would have made a good lawyer.
yay
"He's sat there.." ????? Brexit English!
Is sat? IS sat? But love your work Rob.
Top bloke Andy P and a good trade unionist to boot…..
Eeez eeeeeeeet...! 😂
Is it pertinent to ask? Where did Parsons go after MTW?
Most likely took a break, and is now back at it. He may have been offered to appear on other panel shows, but I reckon he would have stayed at MTW, if that interested him.
Ok
"Tomorrow will be hot, lots of girls in skimpy clothing, it's gonna reach ninety degrees, which is not bad for a man of my age"
"Anne Widdecombe, eeeeew"
I don't think they really got on very well during this did they 😂
Funny how a man can graduate from Cambridge and then wonder if he can "scrape a living".
i keep thinking, eddie the eagle...
Heres a tip...Put both of you on the same screen...Jumping back n forth is a bit annoying...Ha !
Headache inducing, terrible production
Andy has got to be one of the least funny people on British TV
Spitting Image has never been entertaining or funny. It's just gross and obvious.
