Step aboard the HMHS Britannic, the third ship in the Olympic Class trio, who, like her older sister the Titanic, was cheated of a promising career. This ship has never been properly recreated before, and no one has seen her in this state since she sailed the Mediterranean. Now, as the result of extensive research by our team and leading Britannic historians, you can explore her and learn about her like never before.
BRITANNIC: PATRONESS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN is a virtual museum-like experience, where the user can explore the ship at their own pace and discover details about its story, architecture, and contributions to the First World War. There are video-game elements throughout, such as an animated sinking ‘level’ where the survival is not guaranteed, but this is primarily a learning environment.
In this experience, you'll be able to explore the ENTIRE exterior of the ship in Hospital form, as well as several interiors spaces in both Hospital and Ocean Liner versions.
Don’t forget to check out our 3D printed 1/1000 scale models of Britannic as both an Ocean Liner and as a Hospital Ship!

I have to say! I hate you guys for making these games because I know once this and Titanic are released to a full game I'm going to spend hours upon hours playing these games looking at every bit of detail I can get eyes on. I love you guys because you are so passionate about these projects and the attention to detail thus far is beyond amazing. Thank you to the teams that are working hard to develop these beautiful masterpieces. Not only do they teach us about Titanic and many other historical ships but also the way you honor the memories of those lost is admirable. It has been a privilege thus far to witness the progress of these projects and I look forward to future projects from this team. Cheers!
OH MY GOD YES! Britannic fascinates me just as much as Titanic. Ive always wanted to see and be able to explore her as an ocean liner. Thank you for making this! You guys do amazing work
Note, you wont be able to explore the entire ship, It will probably be a little more than titanic demo 3. Edit: its possible when its release that they will gradually add more rooms to explore. to be seen though.

Virtual museums can be the thing of the future. Exploring places that no longer exist in VR seems like a very cool consept. Imagine exploring Pompeii in the same amount of detail collected by history experts for example
I've never been on a modern cruise ship, so I can't say this with absolute certainty, but I feel like the Olympic class liners were some of the most beautiful ships ever built. The interior design and wood craftsmanship is just spectacular. I can't picture a modern ship being so fancy.

It's steam's rule that you have to have the page out that long before it comes out.
You know what could make this game even better? Online multiplayer were everyone works together to escape the ship.
I just want to say what you guys are doing is amazing and I’m wondering if or when the full game of titanic honour and glory will come out.
Probably maybe a year? maybe more or less. They do have approx. 80% of the ship done of titanic.
@@TheOofertaffy - Which sadly, turned out to be less than half of that number. The team has now been reorganized and is working hard to get back on track with its Titanic project. Fortunately, they have dropped the idea of making a cross-platform game of it, so now they can focus on the much more realistic goal of building and releasing some sort of Titanic simulator with an educational guided tour option. This will most likely be on an empty ship, since it's just not possible to model and animate more than 2000 detailed characters, give them a voice and text, and have them occupy the entire ship. Such a project would take many more years. I wish the team good luck and hope they will eventually succeed!
I am so hyped. Not only do we get to explore Britannic as both the hospital ship she was and the passenger liner she would have been, but we also get to experience her sinking.
Makes me anticipate Titanic: Honor & Glory more than ever.
FYI for all the people who say "Oh YoU sHoUlD wOrK oN tItAnIc HoNoR aNd GlOrY iNsTeAd" You are wrong, You see, them making games like this can only benefit titanic hg positively. You see, them making these games under stand sort of a pattern. In my mind and to my understanding, if they cant find certain evidence about a certain room, they can look at previous ships and how they were built so that they can make an educated guess to what was (probably) there. Like I said it can only benefit the game instead of negatively impacting the game. Plus they probably have a whole other team working on this game while the primary team stays on titanic. Do not quote me on anything here.
I won't quote you on anything, but your comment didn't age well, I'm afraid. This separate 'game project' has been a huge time-consuming distraction for the THG team, and I believe it has now been discontinued, at least for the next couple of years. Let's hope the THG project will soon be finished and released as a sort of Titanic tour simulator aimed at the educational market, instead of trying to make a triple A/multiplatform game out of it for many more years and never deliver anything.

This experience is beyond amazing. I ran it on my Oculus VR and it just felt as History was brought to life. Its graphics are stunning!!

I played the Titanic demo and I couldn’t get enough. Can’t wait for the whole ship to be accessible but also can’t wait to play this one too!

We, the fans of the Olympic Class, wish to have access to the anchor mechanisms, the winches, capstans and windlasses, the stern rudder mechanisms.
The naval engineering of those past years is of great interest to us.
Please, in future updates let us have access to the rooms I have mentioned, and hopefully also to the engines and turbine.
For us it is what really gives ships that halo of grandeur and majesty.
Besides, being able to explore them by day and night and at sea is a unique environmental experience.

I don't think it should be to long. I would Guess they're just making the "game" itself, you know like menu, settings, what you interact with, etc.
Think that it was "in final test run" last I saw. I was searching for it all over Steam (to add to my Wishlist), but it's not showing up in the search results.

This is awesome! I particluarly like that we get to explore her as she was intended to be. But does that also mean we get to see her exterior as it was intended? Because I would love to see that. Her big davits always seemed to me like an over-compensation from the lessons of Titanic. I'd love to see what Britannic would have been like, had she entered normal service...

I glanced away just before the lifeboat went through the propeller. When the propeller hit I nearly jumped out of my skin! 😱😥

That scene being in the lifeboat chopped up by the propellers gave me chills.
in a way it makes me angry that this beautiful ship could not have served it’s full purpose, it was so beautiful and maybe even more beautiful than titanic itself. it’s such a shame that disaster happens, it ruins so much stuff

Watching this trailer I thought to myself “Yes this might take some time away from the development of Honor and Glory but, It could serve as a good proof of concept to help them get investors for the game. Show that the team is capable of doing these things that they want to do.” I am genuinely looking forward to this games release and I completely intend on buying it. Mainly because the Britannic is my favorite of the three Olympic class liners. And I get to see her interior finally.

Very nice indeed guys, but why don't you focus on the task at hand and finish Titanic first. You could always release Britannic later as a paid or free DLC right ?
Believe it or not, developing this game helped them a lot to understand more about titanic. It didnt take much of their time since HG is still the main focus.
