WLToys 144001 Repairing a broken differential with 4 washers!

So can you repair a broken WLToys 144001 differential with 4 washers? Many people have said that you can use washers / shims to repair your broken diffs. Well my front diff on my WLToys 144001 was BROKENNNNN so I thought, why not try? So I did. And it did work. Check out the video to see! Also stick around for the end as slowmo's showing the fix.

WASHER SIZES: The smaller one is 7mm diameter and the internal diameter is 4mm. 0.7mm thick. The larger one is 9mm diameter and internal 5mm. 0.9mm thick.

I pretty much have the same issue. Just the rear diff. When going forward only the front wheels turn. But when going backwards the rear and front wheels turn. I have to take the diff apart too. Maybe i can fix it like you did.
