Hey Star, I found a great team! Dark Emperor Liu Kang, Shaloin Kung jin, and neatherrralm kung Lao. Liu Kang will receive a bar of power from Kung Jin and Kung Lao, I don't reccomend giving Liu Kang wrath hammer nor blazes life force because I know you'll use x-ray.

WHAT ABOUT CLASSIS LIU KAN IS HE NOT THE BEST?
Totally no synergie here, but how about the most debuff resistant team because of their personal equipment? Any Jason with his mask, any Cassie with her armour (undercover or spec ops are really your only options) and any Triborg with it's armour. Add another 20% debuff resistance from the support part of the talent tree and all of them will be 70% resistant to every debuff
No synergy? Jade allows diamonds to tag faster, it's huge!
