This is a wonderful rendition of Rain! I'm playing Agwe in my high schools performance of Once On This Island and this video has heavily influenced me. I'm hoping the entire show is this good, which it's coming along to be. Thank you for being a good inspiration for Agwe's past and present!
Wow, so glad o saw the high school version first or I would have been sorely disappointed, this production looks great and this vocalist is phenomenal.
Just realized the vocalist is the poster of the vid. Amazing job. Liked the song when I heard it, loved the song when I heard you sing it. Where else can we see you? And I hope you say "on Broadway"
When I saw this at the Hanger, I got shivers. Your voice is so amazing, once of the best shows there I have ever seen. I was hoping against hope that it would be on youtube, because I like your performance better than the Broadway ones.
This is such a different take from when we did it in highschool. We had the gods standing on opposite sides of the auditorium... not WITH Ti Moune like you guys were. I like this way better.
I live in Colorado can ask how i would go about finding somewhere do this play again cause i played Papa Ge in high school and i would love to do it again. And i believe this man played a great Agwe. kudos man kudos.
@Mangalaiii good eye!. No the Lights werent supposed to be off. They hadnt been rigged yet. First tech rehearsal. tons changed from that rehearsal til opening. once again, good eye!
THE best rendition of this song I've heard to date.
Wonderful Job

I've listened to this over and over again. I revisit it every so often. Thank you. Keep sharing your art.
