I am always impressed with your ingenuity. I'm sitting here thinking "how the hell is he gonna turn a flat disc into a spider? You're truly an artist. Well done.
:) Thank you!
I was expecting him to sink two half-spheres and weld them together. Would’ve avoided the math. :) It’s not something I have the skills to do, but it can be done.
That math is scary enough! I'll take my chances with the spider!!!
Floyd Underhill LOL
Ha ha!
jason s; I am fairly sure that triangles have straight sides... stating sarcastically.
Make ten of those and just randomly hide them in the forest
Det här är en så fin film! Tack!
Make 10 of and randomly leave them in town.
There's something wonderful about such a skilled blacksmith taking his time to make a spooky holiday decoration that is very pleasing.
Should've added a red thick line on its back to make it look like a giant Redback Spider. Great work man.
Thank you for knowing how to balance audio, and for actually doing so. So many "industrial" channels don't even out the audio and I end up giving up on watching the videos just so I don't go insane from having to constantly turn the volume up and down.
I just love the little bit of humor you put in your videos every once in awhile.
I am a simple man, I see a good youtuber that at least seems to genuinely like doing youtube vids, I subscribe
:) Thanks!
Amazing problemsolving on the ”ball” part! You’re a straight up genius!
I swear, since I'm the only one who comments about your top-notch editing, I want to claim that the lighting adjustment shot was for me. XD
:)
Amazing sculpture! Very creative and very creepy.
Your video's are amazing ,I could watch them all day 👍
For anyone who is new to blacksmithing, this guy is someone to pay attention to. Great video!
Thanks for the heads up. I will.
You forgot the compound eyes! Splendid video thought, very thoughtfully forged, many different techniques were involved. Such skill!
Your spider turned out pretty good. I never would have thought of making a spider from forged metal. Fun project.
Excellent project, so many techniques, fantastic work.
Best regards from the UK.
That was a blast. I really loved the way you connected many techniques during this project. Still one of the best smiths there are, TA. Cheers.
And always add a pinch of humor to your work. Thumbs up!
Your work is amazing. I love watching you build different things. Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming. 👍👍
Så perfekt för Halloween. Snyggt jobb!
Huge thumbs up, I'm really impressed at the consistency of your legs. It's hard to do multiple copies and have them look great!
I was very pleasantly surprised by what I though would be a boring video. Seeing you build an orb out of a rusty old drum lid was amazing, and then you hand-forged the solid metal legs! The unpainted version was a work of art. It was almost a shame to see you paint it. Thanks for sharing this.
i saw your big smile when looking at it.
you should be proud.
what a great job!
Thanks. Yes, it exceeded my expectations...
I love watching something made from nothing. Thanks for sharing your talent.
That spider is scary, next project is a spider web and a black fly caught on it, . Most importantly your craftsmanship is second to none. Great job as usual .
Wonderful. Absolutely amazing skills and attention to detail.
Won’t be able to sleep tonight knowing that spider is out crawling around hehe. Amazing job as always!
First class workmanship, brilliant!
You will never stop surprising me. Stunning work!!!
At first I wasn't sure if I could be bothered watching til the end. Glad I did, thank you, great display of variety of skills!
What a Wonderful Project. Awesome Job Mr. T!
Brilliant idea with the sphere,
Excellent execution,
Awesome project !
Great intro, this is why you never travel in the forest without your best friend Mjölnir. ☺
You the real Blacksmith bro. ❤❤❤
Shined up the start of that sphere almost looked like the spheres in the 70's movie Phantasm!! the ones with the drills and spikes. Excellent build good Sir.
You are a true Craftsman, Sir. Nice Work .
Not sure how you imaged this finished when you were designing it but holy hell does it look fantastic.
Jag sitter med ett stort leende hela filmen igenom. Du är så duktig och inspirerande. Tack!
Va kul, tack Joel!
As with so many of your videos and projects, one thumbs-up is just not enough! Beautiful and inspiring work!
Thank you!!
Man, what a cool project and how well done. I love it
You're a man of many talents. Loving your videos.
Amazing , super creative.
What do I love more? Spiders or these cool videos? That is a tough one!!
Another great piece of work to show your incredible skill set. Superb job as usual.
Wow,best among, best blacksmith!
So much work to give my wife the chills. Thank you.
:)
We have spiders like that in Western Australia. They have a red stripe, and the common name is *_Redback Spider._* When I was a kid, and outside toilets were a regular feature in the 1950's, we always had to check under the _dunny seat_ so we wouldn't die a horrible death . . .
That is the same kind that the mayor in "Nightmare before Christmas" uses as a bolo tie. :-) Wouldn't fancy meeting one IRL...
Ha ha ha, yes that would have been a horrible death...
Don't you guys also have one that can bite through a toenail? I think it's called a mouse spider.
+@@blargkliggle1121: Although the three subspecies of mouse spiders are widely distributed across Australia, I haven't been much concerned about them because they are more _"popular"_ in Northern Territory and the Eastern States. Thus I couldn't answer your question, but a quick look at the Medical Journal of Australia reveals that of the 40 bites definitely diagnosed as from that type of spider up to about 2004, only one bite of a young child required anti-venom treatment, and observed for 4 hours to ensure recovery. None mentioned any case of traumatic (physical) injury such as you described. No nightmares necessary 😨 after all, the children can go to sleep (fairly) safely.
they're related to the black widow, except full of steroids and hate
Amazing and beautiful work ! Thank you !
Veramente bello, realizzato in maniera fantastica. Bravissimo..... come sempre.
Wow this looks amazing!
Good job
Amazing job !!!!! It looks so real.

Fantastic creation! I love your work!
not gonna lie, it was pretty awesome seeing the legs move as the welds cooled down. you dont always get to see the metal moving like that.
Absolutely marvelous. You are a Big artist. Congratulations .!!!

Awesome content love the way you work with the metal you make it look so easy
Next you need a huge web in a corner for it. That was an awesome project man. Really enjoyed it.
That was Brutal. Love you work. Thanks for yours videos
She looks amazing
Well made. Very few out there like you, Torbjörn.
Awesome build aside, even just making the dish for dishing the sheet metal was a cool build in and of itself.
Wish I could click the thumbs up more than once when there's more than one reason for liking a video!
Thanks!!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Another great video TA, am I the only one who is jealous of your skills, tools and workshops? ;-)
A red hourglass would make it a Black Widow. Beautifully well done.
Video quality is excellent nowadays! Love it!
So much fun in 19 minutes (our time) and years of fun thinking about it and using it. Amazing build and design of a big'O scary spider. Nice one Torbjorn! Thanks for sharing your fun!
