    2 or 3 times to get it right? Aahhhh!!!! I'm WAY behind! All of my children are terrified they're getting another cup for a gift! Lol! And I have 7 kids.... I've moved on to the grandkids now. No more of those silly gift cards from Grandma, now you'll get a personalized coffee cup!😮 Yours are so beautiful! 🌸

    Do you have to sand and spray paint if you like the base color?

    • @MichaelKirby1
      @MichaelKirby1 ปีที่แล้ว

      you should always sand and prep your cup if you are spray painting it. We do not use already color based tumblers so I could not say yes or no.

    I know this is a year late but I did a cup & 24hrs later it’s not dry what did I do wrong & what can I do with cup? TY

      Hey there are you saying that your epoxy is not dry or that the ink is still tacky? Usually either one of those scenarios can be fixed with another light run of epoxy on top of the cup.. if it is simply that the ink can still be a little tacky, that usually means there was a lot of ink and maybe not as much epoxy. It sometimes happens, I would just add another round of epoxy on top of that. If your epoxy is still not cured, that could be because the epoxy wasn't fully mixed and again, if you add another run of epoxy on top of that you should be fine.

    I thought you could not torch alcohol inks and/isopropyl alcohol.

    • @wickedwhiskeydesigns
      @wickedwhiskeydesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can if you give them just a second once you add them to the cup. I'm not saying I have not accidentally set them on fire because I have :-) but if you drop your alcohol ink and let it move around for 5-10 seconds, you can torch it without a problem. Obviously you're using short quick light bursts, you're not totally drilling down on it with the torch, you just want enough enough direct heat to get the movement on your cup. I hope that makes sense 😊 great question!

    Hi I just subscribed. Yeah it's way too pretty to have a decal! That's one of the best alcohol ink cups I've seen! Most people they swirl and swirl just two colors and come out muddy in my opinion. This is absolutely stunning! My only downside to your videos. You're not actually showing the cup good enough while you're and at the end you definitely aren't giving us a close-up it's back to your face and more talking. Please just be mindful that like to see the finished product more thank you
