Is a good thing I watched this video. I'm buying a used bike with these. I'll have to tell the previous owner to help me re-register the sensors so they worth with my phone instead of his!

    Is this an ad?
Also I was intrigued by this but then I found out these type things might cause your tire to start leaking if the product decides to fail or something?

Nope, if you check out my channel I do a lot of gadget reviews. Doesn't matter to me if someone ends up buying it or not. I just like showing what's on the market. I haven't seen an air leak happen. The only thing I've read about is battery life being less than expected sometimes. I guess if an air leak did happen, the sensor would alert you right away 😂

I was filming at a friend's garage - he said the pump is from Costco, a big box store. This is the pump that I like to use from Airmoto - it's even smaller and easy to pack for a trip: amzn.to/4cia53y

Meh, knowing that some Chinese brands just give you their OEM stock watever shelf special TPMS right out the back. Some of them were proprietary nonsenses until their (Chinese) industry standardized on the one used for cars (15" wheel) and just went with that one, probably.
Zontes starting from their 2nd gens 310 and 350cc line up did that, and I believed some other brands in Britian already outfitted with one for high way use since...2010s maybe.

@@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles Their readings are the same on my Toyota's aftermarket ones. Pretty nice that they just reuse one's other part.
I know for the love of God these guys just copy their own homework, but it's nice to see some efforts in keeping the costs down by doing so in term of manufacturing scale.

Here’s a thought: maybe instead of a $1 gauge, you get a $10 gauge? You’d be $90 ahead already, not to mention the cost of having the wheels rebalanced due to the xtra -10gram weights. Oh, and the annual battery replacement. Bet that $10 gauge will last a lifetime, and you can use it on all your cycles, cars, bikes, etc. Nah, that makes too much sense….better to get the automatic electronic one….
