I live in small town. Nowadays I don't use cash. I do transactions only through UPI. ✌️🇮🇳

I always prefer UPI. It's the safest, easiest and very convenient way of payment.
Mai to almost 80% payments UPI se hi karta hu. Mobile recharge, electricity bills, broadband bills and other bills to.
UPI is truly a Revolutionary & Game Changer in Financial Transaction.. we used to use paytm wallet service before 2016. One of the main cons of this types of wallet service system is disclosure of mobile no to receiver.
not forget about Rupay also beating Visa and MasterCard...

China dominates by apps like Zoom, Tiktok. USA by Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google, Twitter and TH-cam. India has only UPI. It's a humble start but whereas the bigboys went for online interaction, India went for online transaction. Good work. Hope to see more apps come up with this success.

I pay grocery, restaurant , electricity etc possibly everythings through UPI ,,,
I love UPI payments. This has made payments so easy. Even streetside vendors and small businesses accept UPI. UPI also shifted me towards GPay and stop using PhonePe and PayTM. The latter two have unnecessary features like wallets or payments banks which make their interfaces cluttered.

I always prefer UPI whenever I run out of cash or I'm too lazy to take out my card(which happens most of the time) 🤣

UPI developed in 2009... It became more in usage due cash crunch after 2016.
And the lucrative offers provided by many upi provider apps..
All thanks to Jio...jio plays more important part in success of UPI payment... without mobile internet its not possible

UPI is great but Banks should make there Digital infrastructure more robust and Faster...it will make better platform
The real story behind the success of UPI is not the retailer segment because they always deny to take payment via upi for two reasons
1) payment go through account so they have to show more income on tax paying so to avoid more tax they are denying
2) sometimes initially payment get failed and money get deducted but not received by retailer, it also creates problem.
In my knowledge the real person behind the success of upi is the age group between 16 to 30 yrs mostly students which initially started trusting on these payment systems and force them the retailer to take payment via UPI by avoiding purchasing from them. When initially UPI started we the college student started using it at broad level and also shared with many of others and help them in installing the app and tell them how to use it... So govt also need to mention the credit for this group also in their reports.
Secondly and more importantly govt must not have to impose any kind of charges on UPI otherwise it will collapse the system and the people again moves back to cash. In india we prefer cheaper than we prefer smoother. I am living between the people and I suggest to govt if they take any action for imposing charges then this will cost to the govt.
Third one... As like defense products India also need to offer and advertise the UPI for international buyers and users and we have to do it fast and rapid..

I use UPI platform 80% for any kind of transection and always try to go for online transaction as possible because I live in tear 1 cities but in small cities and villages due to lack availability of good internet network UPI becomes unbearable because it requires good network and internet connection.
UPI is simple ,secure and almost no time taken...so quick💯💯

I used Visa only twice. But UPI may be hundreds of times. It's just convenient and even smallest of shops are using it.
(Digital India is a huge success as well as UPI and startup india and standup india is showing tremendous achivement by adding 46 new unicorns this year(2021))- and this what we have to feel proud but yeah now 2022 must have to bring more success to india and we will work for it until our body dies

Freelancing sites should enable payment receivable from UPI too. As currently only paypal is available which only allows transactions to Credits cards only.
