Buddy the 24 yo Cockatoo

Buddy moved in with us in July 2024 after his owner sadly passed away. His owner was the only person who could handle him and he displayed very aggressive behavior to anyone else who went near him. He even chased his owners wife to attack her.
Anyway. After a total shake up to his environment, a companion in a cage next to him & some really different experience- we have made totally amazing progress. He was so timid and scared, he was petrifying of my hands and would cringe any time I showed him my hands. It took a lot of work to gain his trust.
I can't believe how far he has come. I am so proud of him and I absolutely love him to bits!!!
