Hi Calvin im currently installing a short shifter into my 240, thing is I don't have a wave washer. Is it ok if I go without it, or do I need it? Also I have a hard time finding one.

I've heard that some of these shifters cause transmission leaks on the KA and SR trans, have you noticed any leaking with the RB trans? I also wanted to know if your kit was labeled to fit the rb20det trans, or if it was a kit labeled to fit the CA/KA/SR trans only. I heard that SR shifters fit the rb20 but wanted to confirm before buying. Thanks!
+Alex Grant Well I'm running a KA trans. I haven't experienced any leaking. I made sure to put a cover over the shiver assembly like how it is stock, Keeps the nasty smell out too...

im 6'3 250 pounds and I'm thinking about getting a 240 as my 1st car, I was wondering how tall are you. I'm worried about head space and you look kind of tall

I'm having trouble removing this shifter off my 240, I removed the side clamps and I couldn't remove the adapter plate for the life of me.
+Erick Santo Yeah Alex's 240 had the same issue.. We used the open end of a wrench to pry it off haha.

Try DND shift knobs, I have one in my accord and it's the perfect weight and size but they aren't that pricey
