Hey I’ve been watching for a while and was wondering if you would possibly do a video explaining what you do as an English teacher. I am very curious on how it works and have many questions like do you only speak English to them or do you have a translator in the room or are you an aid to the teacher anyway love your videos ❤❤❤
Hi, thank you for watching 🥰 I definitely want to do a video about it, it will just have to be more down the line as I am still getting used to everything and new things appear every few days. As for your questions, yes, I only speak in English there (especially since almost no one speaks English), and there are the regular kindergarten teachers in the room while I teach the children, so they help me with the kids if they get too rowdy, otherwise, I'm on my own. But all the teachers are super nice, and though I have to use Google Translate a ton, it's been good so far. 😊
I can't get over the prices that you paid. Even our dollar stores here don't have anything remotely like what you bought for those prices! I've also never heard someone actually happy with any type of clothing that they paid less than $10 USD for. Just curious, will your school compensate you for the activities that you bought for your class? Hope ordering clothes from Chinese stores don't end up giving you a complex. Those sizes seem as insane to me as to you, being a westerner. Good to see you are now making your apartment a home. Look forward to your next video.
The prices are insanely good, I was so shocked when I arrived here! And no, the school does not compensate me for any toys I buy myself. However, if I have to print anything I can print it at the kindergarten and laminate it as well, which is really nice, especially considering how much I have laminated these days😅. And, thank you for the thought ☺but I'm really not bothered by the clothing sizes here. Though I can totally see how they might affect someone who is very self-conscious about their body.
