Please forgive. This movie is outstanding but as a worship leader, the sister cannot sing & doesn’t have a good singing voice. But the ministry in this movie cannot be dismissed. It is word provoking all the way through. Great ministry to believers especially.

What a demotion! From global impact to local church. God is merciful in His discipline. Why didn't anyone around her get the kind of vision they had after the wedding? Man's choice is very potent. She chose to disregard God's original plan for her.
I love the respect bro Israel had.
A good wealth of teaching on the topic of marriage. However what stood out strongest to me was the aspect of gender identity and its impact. Just like the bible says; husband is the head, ruler and dominion over marriage and the family. So a sister marrying a brother who is not even in the word of God, let alone be her destined spouse. Well, he has the power to destroy and kill her ministry. Of course, he is her head, this is why no pastor or any other church elder even questioned his authority to reject their invitation of his wife. Didn't matter what she personally cried about after, he is her husband. So she married the wrong man, well that is her problem nobody's yeah?. It is clear to me that marrying the wrong person as a woman comes with greater load of problems than with a man. Because like Lot and Job in the bible, they are the leader and authority holder, so they have the power to swing their weak wives along. But as a woman, your husband is supposed to be your leader, if he can't lead or refuse to lead in the right direction, where exactly are you going to walk?. You want to work for God and spend time on ministration projects, he thinks you should sit at home watch him sleep!. He has that authority as your husband, so it is a greater burden for any christian woman who truly wants to spend a life centred around Jesus Christ to marry the wrong man. Because you are supposed to follow his steps and leads!. And this is also something The Holy Spirit has shown some things about to me. Since you as a woman are a companion and helpmate. Just like the proverb 31 woman her strenght, intellect, power and excellency was grafted by her husband into himself for his expansion. So likewise, when you are courting this man, you can know allot about his suitability by how he responds to you. Such as the discussions you bring up, issues you raises. How does he reacts to it? Especially when it comes to affairs of maybe project work, mission posts experiences etc. How does this man reacts to your ability, knowledge, suggestions etc? Does he take them, builds upon them and perfects it? Or does he just lay back happy about your demonstration, depending on you to perfect and complete everything by yourself? Because whatever you as a woman come forth with, he is supposed to go over it in his manly nature and perfect it as a man!. So when you see that this man grafts from your hand, molds, perfects and expands on your input. Certainly this is not a wrong man. But always allow God himself to confirm at least 3 times that he is your husband before you marry him!. I think this also falls into our mindset in terms of judgement of others. What do we judge people by? Their very heart like God or mere physical attributes like this fool Linda? Because how he reacts to you, how he naturally works with you psychologically etc demonstrates his heart's condition. God told us many times in the bible that he provides all our needs. Material wealth etc is never a problem in the future of anybody who really loves this God. So, look at his heart, because that is what his character is going to demonstrate forever. And yeah no rush, should not be a problem courting 1year after proposal, plenty of time to study his heart!
The marriage problem is far smaller than the ATTITUDE PROBLEM. Lydia felt she had"moved on".
And Rufus Daniel is not a bad man. He is perfectly right to expect a united front.
Lydia's ministry seems to be stage based, rather than home -based.
Doesn't charity begin at home? She didn't seem to practise in her new home. It began to look like business as usual, expecting the man to tag along.

We must adjust our managerial clock as well as our geographical location.
Lydia is under a different dispensation. She's still a spinster in her own eyes.

Noted: Love of money by marrying the rich man corrupted her gift not to a complish her destiny.
Even Lydia had married Pastor Israel, the marriage would have hit the rocks courtesy of her "me first" outlook.

Nice movie but why did the sister not have the dream of the jeep before Lydia got married? Also the sister and her husband and church pastor should have discerned that Rufus was not the right partner for Lydia.
Irregardless of whatever anyone received,that which you receive from God is what matters.what did God tell you about your marital, and when a brother comes to you, it's your responsibility to go and seek the face of God.

I have seen it before now like many years ago.
But it makes more sense to me now than ever.
You know why…?
I also missed it in marriage… JUST LIKE LYDIA DID. I thought I was smart and can use my head to choose in marriage… and the devil got me and hooked me up.
The last ten years has been hectic and dramatic for me since I met the father of my children…. In 2012 which was about 10 years ago. Not knowing that’s NOT THE ORIGINAL PLAN…. Of GOD FOR ME.
I was set back.
I was also grounded… my tyres were removed and gone and I couldn’t move forward in all that God has called me to do for Him in the Kimgdom.
I was frustrated. I was down and depressed when I saw that I had missed it too just like LYDIA DID.
Now the Lord has given me another chance and I am forever grateful and thankful and appreciative for it.
