That was his first time on stage. He rehearsed every word of his routine including the "hello, how are you"..etc, messed up it, and then went on to riff about how much he sucked and got a load of laughs and some praise from the headliner who thought that was actually Brian's act. He did a podcast with Burr years ago and talked about it on there. There's a clip on yt.
He’s doing comedy the right way taking his act & adjusting to the audience. He’ll be around for a while.. he’s not that funny but good enough to write & get an acting gig or two.
