I'm in my 50's now and live clean and sober. However when younger I was into the criminal/drug lifestyle. I got into trouble in the 90's and didn't snitch. Afterwards I wish I would've because I noticed that 90% of these people who decry snitching, and advocate the thug life don't live by it. They almost always snitch. Out of roughly 15 of us that ended up in trouble I can only think o myself and one other who didn't. As I said I wish I would've in hindsight. Those guys are only loyal to their best interests. There is also a differenece between a snitch who wants to live the life and pass the consequences on to others versus somebody who has decided to step out of the life and simply tell the truth followed by changing your life.

I'm in my 50's now and live clean and sober. However when younger I was into the criminal/drug lifestyle. I got into trouble in the 90's and didn't snitch. Afterwards I wish I would've because I noticed that 90% of these people who decry snitching, and advocate the thug life don't live by it. They almost always snitch. Out of roughly 15 of us that ended up in trouble I can only think o myself and one other who didn't. As I said I wish I would've in hindsight. Those guys are only loyal to their best interests. There is also a differenece between a snitch who wants to live the life and pass the consequences on to others versus somebody who has decided to step out of the life and simply tell the truth followed by changing your life.
