Also, we had got a better draw, Syracuse was way too athletic for IU’s soft guard. Hulls was a good shooter, but a liability on defense. This lineup was way too short for Syracuse. Yogi is really good, but Hulls should have been coming off the bench.

Kentucky beat indiana in the sweet 16 after that big indiana win against number 1 Kentucky. after this loss Indiana had some dam good teams years after this. it did not all fall apart after this loss. since they got rid of crean the program has took steps backwards. hoping woodson will bring them back. crean won two out right big10 championships and two sweet 16 teams. no one has came close since. hoping woodson does. lots of teams had trouble with the orange zone that year.
