Can this be used on dental bonding? I had my front tooth that was chipped filled and fixed and there’s a white spot on it?

Thank you for your question. It is very difficult to evaluate your case based solely on the description. We recommend that you consult your dentist regarding this situation. In general, the surface to be infiltrated has to be free from any remaining dental bond or restorative material. Otherwise Icon Infiltrant won’t be able to infiltrate the white spot successfully. After the infiltration and depending on the case, a dental bond and a new restoration can be applied. If your dentist has any question about using Icon in this case, they are welcome to contact us on: ClinicalResearch@dmg-dental.com. We would be happy to support!

My daughter, after braces, had white spots on her front teeth, and the doctor advised her to get veneers, but I was not convinced. I want to inquire if icon is useful for her, and which one has a higher price than veneers or icon? Thank you.

Hola , las manchas blancas puede ser la resina con la que se fijo el brace al diente. Es bueno acudir a un profecional. Y no carrillas.

How many times max ivon etch can be applied?

Hi, thanks for your message! In many cases it might be useful (or even necessary) to repeat the etching process in the beginning. (But the complete treatment as a whole should show the desired result after only one time.)
More technical information can be found in the instructions for use on our website: www.dmg-dental.com/en/products/product/icon-caries-infiltration/
