MIL is older. DIL is younger. DIL has child to look after. OP shouldn't meekly accept whatever MIL does but use force to thwart the witch
MIL says get out and tries to physically throw DIL out, DIL should literally kick her out instead. And bolt the door if MIL has a key. DIL can deal with the consequences later.
