I’m super stoked going to my parents place today once I get off work and me and my dad are going to flip my rear axle and put on my coil overs! Can’t wait to have that bad ass stance 🤘

Cool project caddy! Thanks for showing the details on how you are doing the suspension. I started with body work on my caddy.. lol teaching myself body work.. ugh it’s been an adventure..never satisfied so I have to keep sanding and working through it.. im close now, about ready to start on the brakes and suspension… then the engine swap.. let us know how it rides on the new coilovers and axle flipped rear..

What did those wheels come off of? Or did you purchase them elsewhere?

is there a parts list for the axle flip portion of this drop?

You will need an axle block. I think I got mine from a tractor supply. You will need a “U” bolt kit. They stock them at O’reillys but I don’t remember the exact size. And then I used air shocks from a 68 corvette.

In theory you can use everything that was originally holding it on the bottom but just flipped

Hey Neph, was wondering when things are so rusted do you have to replace, sand, treat it some way?

Usually cut it out and weld new metal in depending on how bad it is
