I love Samsonite. I have traveled 79 cities and 23 countries and have traversed through some of rural places. My luggage never lets me down. I have more than one piece and keep buying them. I have Samsonite accessories too. They are all wonderful and keep up with my high paced life.
    Safety
I also travel alone and sometimes use my luggage as a safety measure by putting it up against the hotel room door to prevent unwanted visitors. No one breaks into my bags at dodgy airports so I come home with everything I wanted to.
    Convenience
My luggage serves as a seat when waiting for trains, planes and buses etc.
    Preservation
Well wrapped gifts and delicate jewelry all come home unbroken.
Keep up the amazing quality Samsonite. Keep being badass!

Samsonite.. my 1 and only suitcase (the Large, Hardside and NON-Zip!) for life.

I went out and bought three vintage Samsonite suitcases with the lock and key on it. Sorry I don't do strippers.
I got them for $5 each and with one of them I left my daughter put stickers on it of where we have been. She loves it! I call it a "memory case" because long after my wife and I are gone she'll be able to look at that suitcase and all the stickers of their travels we've had and remember.
Encourage each of you to go out and buy an old-school suitcase that won't have any value for $5 to $10 at an estate sale and for simple road trips start putting stickers on it.

Most of the time you brands bragging about how strong their luggage is. The problem is, they never prove it. Here's some proof of how tough Samsonite bags are.

I call this BS. I have bought three (3) Samsonite lite-shock within the past 2 years and all are damaged meanwhile. The weakest parts are the lock and the hinges on the back that are fixed with plastic and low quality screws.
I only can advise not to buy these suitcases: high-price meets low quality.

You need to buy the frame lock rather than the zip lock ones. Hard shells are far superior than soft shell.

Not all models are the same! These shown are made in Belgium, the cheaper models are made in India and aren’t the same quality!

Nothing like the real world and customer feedback to assess a product, my high end alumininium frame suite case is only one year old and the wheels have pushed through the bottom of the case and split the polycarbonate material, lucky it has a 10 year warranty and should be replaced.

A real simple solution is going to buy a vintage Samsonite luggage suitcase. The people I bought it from I've traveled the world and it's lasted 30-40 years without any sign of breaking anytime soon. I'm paid anywhere from $5 to $10 per luggage. 😁
