The president of the united sates isn't allowed to receive monetary gifts in that manner, and he's not a spiritual leader. If the WORLD can understand why that's inappropriate, what's going on in the church? The Black church has unfortunately equated "blessings" with MONEY. I think that is a mistake. The beatitudes clearly define blessings and those who are blessed--- not once was money mentioned.
