If you take the wipers and top trim piece off, you don’t have to remove the intake or anything

The body shop quoted me 16 hours for this job on my 2011 Sienna. Is that a realistic labor estimate?

What kind of oil did you replenish with? I know these call for nd-8 ac oil. I'm curious if you used pag-46 and if you did, how has your ac system held up?

What were symptoms that caused you to do this work? Having problems with my 2013 ac high pressure 200 low 59 at idle
225 high 39 low when revving in park. Air inside blowed at 74 degrees f on 80 degree day front and back of van. Air blowers hard. Was thinking either metering device or bad blend door? Any help would be appreciated

what I recall was high and low side pressure was low. It ended up being a clogged condenser. The high side service port is after the condenser so the gauges did not show the clogged condenser.

Do you have a video on taking the intake off?

Book calls for 9 hrs for front expansion valve. They probably assume you must pull the dash.

We’ve replaced the front expansion valve and condenser. Now the ac H pressure is at range. L pressure is pass the green but ac not blowing cold.

What are your high pressure and low pressure readings? How much Freon did you put in?

Take the rear black evaporator box off. It's easy. Then you won't struggle for ever.Bad information on the rear.

I may have misread this comment. I just did this job and started doing it the way MJM does in the video. I could not get the expansion valve out at all. I then read this comment quickly and proceeded to split the whole unit which was a PITA but got the job done. Access was still very limited. I now reread your comment and I think you meant remove the whole box all together which makes sense... I think it was 3 bolts and some electrical connectors. I'll take this approach next time, hopefully won't be a next time 😬
