I've been with Apple forever, the Honor 8x is the first phone that's tempted me to the other side. I Ordered it a couple of days ago and I'm genuinely excited about trying something different.

It was a tough decision to move away from Apple, I have everything of theirs, the watch, TV, MacBook, iPad (serval of each) so they all integrate well. That was kind of locking me into their phones too, now I've switched my phone, my watch is pretty much useless so I'm giving to a friend that's still on Apple... although he is looking at my 8x with green eyes already! I also like that being on the Google play store means I can start Clash of Clans over without sacrificing my progress on the iPad :P
Oh... I also kinda got it free. I had accumulated a stack of air miles that I wasn't spending and it was on offer for Black Friday so I cashed in some miles for the total cost inc postage :)
@@Katumi74 What iPhone have you had before that ? This phone is an excellent low-mid range phone, but I don't think you can compare it to iPhone 8 and higher at all.
Did the same just last week. Feels just as fast and buttery smooth as the iPhone 7 did. once I got rid of the bloatware its just as clean and easy to use.. still getting used to Android over iOS but I'm impressed. A big tip for the camera is to turn off the AI and up the resolution for photos and it does just as good a visual job as the iPhone 7 does
@@aakashkori6483 I fear the camera is not that good because most of the negative reviews are for camera. If camera is your first preference then don't go for this one. Camera is not bad just lacks electronic image stabilization, beautify sucks and i guess 4k video recording too.

@@anikarali tbh speaker isn't the best out there but it works if u play indoor... Sound through headphones also isn't the best but works fine for me... Other than sound, everything is superb.... Battery is very good... Display is fine... Didn't do any gaming yet coz I have exams... But feels Lil heavy on my hands coz my previous phone was very light!

Mate 20 lite is definitely better but the difference for me is not that huge, from someone who used htc one for 4years, honor 8x would be a god sent phone for me hahahahah

Its not upgraded to this phone thats why..huawei going to make his own "playstore" So from now on every single huawei phone will not have play story google etc..
i love to use single key navigation, but the thing anoying me is whenever you in GamePlay and want to quit, every time you swipe up to unhidden that key, that mf Google assist is showing.
8x has kirin 710 which is better than sd 660 on 2 pro....however, the gpu on 2 pro is a little better but since the sd 660 on 2 pro is underclocked....you get better performance with 8x. Camera wise both are head to head with 8x a bit ahead.
