    I used to be a "food snob", but you're teaching me all about comfort food and flavor! I'm making hamburger steaks tonight with fried onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes and gravy. I love your kitchen!

      Love your channel and I love the new kitchen....and your accent . I have a question. I was binge watching you today and noticed you used a counter top oven. Do you like it, and if so, what brand and model number is it? I've burnt up two stoves, the electronic part and I'm thinking ill just try the toaster / counter type

    Hey guys, hope ya'll are well. Listen,I know this isn't the right video to your question, but I was binge watching earlier again and your oven went out. We live in Monroe , Georgia and we just bought new stove dishwasher and washer and dryer. The storms hit us alot that month and took out our stove. We just called the store. They delivered a new one. Two weeks later another storm took out our stove. We were blessed, again they said they would deliver that week. Instead my husband asked could he go to store and get a different one and they let us. So, to answer your question...yes they will replace your stove if it was hit by storm and had problems. Yipee!!! A new stove. God is good!!!

      I hope she likes her stove, I have a gas stove at my summer home and electric at my winter home I prefer gas-electric takes too long I can get my cooking done so much faster with gas. I burned up the electric heating element in my front by using a cast-iron skillet the repairman told me cast iron is to heavy for an electric stove. I hope she took her table that her Daddy made out of a door it was nice and I'm sure it had many fine memories... Best of luck to Tammy and her family in their new home.

    Tammy, I know exactly how you feel about the mess, let alone the pain of being burned by that hot oil, My husband is such a picky eater and I have to make appetizers as well as entrees each day for him to not complain about us having "shortcut meals". That's besides what he eats for breakfast and lunch at work. Jimmeny!!! At least he will eat a milkshake for dessert, right?! I'm there with you on the mess and pain....

    I retired my 60 year old electric (GM Frigidaire Freestanding Flair Electric Range) Oven on top, pull out electric range with storage below stove, because I could no longer buy parts for it. I bought a brand new Frigidaire flat top stove similar to yours and I have been trying to figure out how to cook on it for two weeks now, the big burners want to burn everything, lol. I wish I would have went to gas. Hopefully I will get this one figured out, it has everything but the kitchen sink. I sure do miss having my oven on top tho. Going to try your onion rings out tonight, I saved this link just for that. 😃 PS.............I love catsup too. 😃

    I bought a glass-top cooker electric stove here (no gas available). But my Samsung user instruction warns that you cannot use cast iron pots on glass burners. So I save my cast iron for use in the oven and use stainless steel atop.

    I had electric cooking in this house but I can't stand it so converted to gas before we moved in. Also, the gas line cost $700 BUT I bought a fabulous 5-burner gas cook top for $75.00 and a DOUBLE Wall oven with convection for $150 at Habitat for Humanity Restore so it cost less than a new electric stove.Converting to gas cooking, gas dryer, gas water heater has cut the cost of my electric bill by $195 a month. Well worth the expense of all of it. Plus, the utility company gave rebates on all of the conversions. So, if you have a Restore near you and need anything from appliances, area rugs, fixtures, ceiling fans to paneling, windows, tile, etc., I woulld suggest you check them out. They have everything from new to gently used to just about antiques.
    One last thing, I have always hated the waste of oil for frying but this skillet method of rings make it simple, quick, easy.
    Enjoy your new home, Chris and Tammy and family, ye, even the snake

    I went to a friend's house for dinner one night years ago and she had marinated cube steak in straight dales sauce and oh my gosh...it was so incredibly salty I have never eaten it since. I think I may get some and just use it like "The W sauce".

      Yes, I agree that America has begun a cooking revolution. Haven't you noticed that flour, milk,eggs etc. are hard to find? There is more bread baking, biscuit rolling, and cake and pie eating than before. Lody,when everyone comes out of those houses, the gym is going to overflow. Don't forget yard beautification too.lol

    Wonderful job you both did on the kitchen. We remodeled our kitchen 2 years ago and it took forever to get it the way I liked it. Congratulations again on your new home! I'm sure you'll spend many happy years there!

      I'm in East Georgia but I think I can smell them also. Love food. ❤ ❤❤ I watch TH-cam on my phone but finally figured out how to watch you full screen. Chris, thanks for picking up Dale's seasoning jar. I would have spelled it wrong. Thanks for putting close to camera so I could read it. Thanks for cooking for us and teaching us. Now, last thing, when did you say you were opening that food Cafe? I'm ready to come eat. I'd like fried pork chops, blackeyed peas with hamhock, mash potatoes and brown gravy and steamed cabbage. Oh yeah, Heinz 57 for my meat. All just like my momma did. Love ❤ y'all

      Are you using cast iron skillet on a glass top stove im didnt think you could is that true

    • @summersez1673
      @summersez1673 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@veracoop3480 I use my cast iron skillets all the time on my glass top. You just have to use common sense with it and pick it up rather than pushing it around so it doesn't scratch it up.

    Hey T🤩mmy. I am so happy to finally see you and the new kitchen and home. I'm actually going out to get the 🌽starch for the onion rings right now. I just was blessed with a HOUSE without a mortgage In Gordo, AL. Even my husband and I are like fish out of water, because we are New Yorkers. I'm from the Bronx and he's from Long Island but we are trying to figure it out (PLEASE🙏 HARD).
