From their own mouths "the only things available to do in Bakersfield are do drugs and fuck like rabbits." Jon didn't become addicted to Meth as a result of becoming famous, as many believe. He was a meth addict, and then he became famous so it got much worse, which explains their spiral out of control up around Life Is Peachy and Follow the Leader. Everyone seems to love hating on Head for his stint away from the band, but with the state the band was in at the time, it was the only way he could raise his daughter to be a functional adult. A metal-band's tour bus is no place for a child to grow up, especially when it happens to be filled with drug addicts.
