my first travelling adventure was to Malaysia I loved everything about it. The people are incredibly proud of their country and so they should be. I can't wait to take my family
iAwareNow. Not surprising if it comes from one nasty Indonesian like you who are always provoking Malaysia like as though you know everything about us. Who the hell do you think you are making wild accusations. Much jealous ya cos your country is not listed. We have no hatred whatsoever against you guys we don't deserve such rude comment from you. Malaysia is a Commonwealth country n we always have a sentimental attachment with Great Britain, go to London, it's like a second home to us. Shame on you!!!
Why do you people have to be like that? Of course, I am aware that those countries do not live under the same conditions as we do, to say the least, but I didn't mean to insult anyone or sth! calm down!
When i saw my country flag(Malaysia) i so proud. I also just received backpacking through Asia and Malaysia for a month. I met with Kate from around the world she did say Asia one of the most safest place for women backpacking.
Happened to stumble across your channel and have enjoyed t the last few weeks. I have never traveled alone but I have been to Hong Kong and Japan for World Scouting events and I absolutely loved the experience. One thing I am struggling with now is where to go, because really I just want to go everywhere. Love oyur videos!
I actually think Korea would be a great place to go as a first-time traveler. There's a culture shock, but it's super safe with crazy amazing infrastructure, tons of wifi, and tons of English signs. If you feel nervous, there are tons of cute cafes where you can lie low for a bit and feel at home
I agree with the chaos in Manila Looool. I suggest going to Makati City it's so much better and safer. Just an hour near Manila. Like thirty minutes from the airport. Once outside the city it will be good like Palawan, Boracay and many more. In the Philippines you can even ask the vendors or kids for directions. Everyone speaks English.
I am malaysian, first country that i visited was chiangmai,thailand...amazing place and i stay at mae sai and tachileak, Myanmar...then hong kong and bali indonesia..in term of transport i recommend hong kong..very easy to go around..u can even visit macau with just 1 hour from hk island..bali is beauty..mystery and relaxing...love it..by the way...for my opinion..u should visit borneo sabah and sarawak...they have beautiful island, mountain and forest..
Hi Aly, thank you so much for highlighting that the UK is not just London! I'm Portuguese living in the UK for almost 5 years and can definitely say that there's SO many amazing places to see - some of the places I've been and strongly recommend: Edinburgh, Pembrokeshire (Wales), Strafford-upon-Avon, Cornwall (
My first time out of the country I'm from (USA) was to Belize. It is an amazingly easy place to navigate as an English speaker because English is actually the official language. Everyone speaks both English and Spanish! Aside from that, the Belizean dollar is equivalent to exactly $.50 USD. There's so much to see and the people are so friendly and laid back.
Taylor Aylett OMG! that's exciting for you to have an adventure! I'm originally from the Philippines but will settle in NSW. Go for all the ASEAN countries coz it's near AU and really cheap as well. 50 cents beer and $1 meal!! 😊
filipinos are the most well english speakers in asia. i believe that's their 2nd language. i never had any difficukties communicating with them, even with their so called jeepney drivers! amazing indeed! -from a greek btw
I just got back from a trip in Europe and went to Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, France, England and Spain. Out of all of the places we went to I was expecting Istanbul, Turkey to have a huge language barrier, but honestly, it ended up being Paris, France. The French don't like speaking English, and while a lot did (hostel staff, Disneyland...) I found people in positions that I expected to have a okay level of English to barely speak it, such as train staff/information desk staff! Anyway, my first trip apart from Aussie (many times as a kid as I'm from NZ) was to California, USA - very easy for a first time traveler!
Amy Earle we hated France because they were so rude. I tried to speak French and they were jerks because my French wasn't good enough. So we tried English and they were still mean. This went on our entire vacation. I was thinking how is Paris a tourist city and nobody speaks English?🙄
DearJRenae I'm french and indeed, most of us don't speak english at all I mean we are so bad at it it's crazy, even though of course some can speak it very well. However I'm surprised about the rude thing. Did you go to Paris ?Some Parisians tend to be a bit rude indeed so if you're looking for a more friendly town you should try Bordeaux :)
I found Parisians (in the tourists/restaurant industry) unwilling to speak French with me. They seem to dislike hearing non-natives speak what they call “textbook French.” They would hear my American accent and just speak English...bummer...
Enya definitely come and visit New Zealand ! I live in Auckland. I would recommend travel both islands to see Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown 😊
If you're in southland then I can show you around, i've lived here all my life, not that it's the most interesting place in NZ but if you happen to be down this way, i'm here to help haha :)
I live in Canada- and can't afford to travel in Canada :( it is soooo expensive to get anywhere! I also live in a remote northern town, but still. The tourists driving through my town to go to Alaska are all rich Americans and Europeans. I love my country- but I wish it was more affordable.
I would also put Ireland down as a great first time travel destination. A vast array of sites to see. It has good public transport but it is kind of expensive but can be done on a budget. I would highly recommend it.
I hope that one day you'll make your way to any island at east coast of Malaysia..redang,perhentian,kapas,tioman island and many more are waiting for you!
Singapore would be also nice for beginners to get a slight understanding what Asia is like. Visiting China Town, Little India, Arabic area etc. Getting around Singapore is super easy. My first travel destination was Israel. Massive culture shock partly because we were staying at the strict orthodox Jews family and you had to follow all the Kosher rules (not mixing milk and meat in your meals for example), not to use electricity on Saturdays, cover up your body when it's insanely hot etc. But it's really easy to get around the country, lots of things to see and most of the people speak English. As an option for the first time travellers.
So, let me try to explain. It cannot be combined in one meal. So... if you are eating burger where milk was used for the bread recipe, plus there is meat. Or, you have spaghetti bolognieze and after it you have pancakes, which have milk in it. Or you had a meal with meat and then decided to drink milk tea. So all of it are perfect examples. But it is only happens if you are in orthodox part. In Tel Aviv, for example, you don't need to worry about it. But Macdonalds is kosher there, so the taste will be completely different.
Sonchik007 nah singapore would be the last place to go to. everything there is waaaaaaay too expensive. if ur looking for the SEA feel then malaysia would be better. if your looking for urban metropolis might as well go to seoul or tokyo
But we are comparing the countries not by the prices range, but how easy is to get around. Australia is way more expensive for example, but it was an example in the video.
For Latin America, countries that are fairly easy for first time travelers are Costa Rica, Mexico, and Peru (though you should visit all of Latin America - it's the best!!)
Great vid. girl, never thought about this particular topic. My first trip (I'm an Aussie living in Perth) was to Singapore - still haven't been to Bali... A little expensive but so very safe and easy to get around. I took my sons when they were about 8 and 10 and we had a ball. Keep up the good work, love your content.
My first major travelling trip was to Mongolia. I feel as if you plan well before hand and have a good idea of where you want to go, you will be fine wherever you go. In Mongolia they spoke hardly any English at all, but I managed with just pointing to a phrase book and actions.
US person here. I def recommend the US for travelers - Greyhond bus lines is nationwide and they also have an annual discount membership available. we have all different kinds of landscapes and cultures all in one country. we speak English and Spanish here pretty equally, so if you want to learn Spanish there is plenty of that.
My first solo travel was to do Summer Camp in USA. I did this because of the element of solo travel but also being guaranteed a job and environment were u can't not make friends! Also, you work before you travel so it's such a good set up to ease in to independent travelling and has given me so much confidence :-) If u have the skills do a summer camp.. it's more than just working with kids too !! Now I have a south east Asia trip booked with my best friend I met out there
Thousands of thanks for making Malaysia in your top 10 list. Most of all, million of thanks for visiting Malaysia. Do visit Malaysia again sometime in d future.
My 1st destination out of the U.S. was the Dominican Republic! We did not stay on a resort and there were many things that were a culture shock, but it was a great experience!
the first place I visited on my own was the UK (London and Cambridge) and I'll be in Thailand on my own in April! :) I'm kinda nervous but sooo happy that I will finally see something else than Europe
First place I visited (I was born in the U.S. and currently live in boston) was France when I was 3 months old, and later England when I was 1 :) An easy first-time travel destination I'd recommend is actually my own city of Boston! It's smaller and much less hectic/stressful than NYC, it's very historic, and frankly very European! I love showing my French friends around!
I'd add Seoul to a first time trip to Asia. It's still pretty cheap and has a great nightlife/expat scene so you can make friends easily. Plus its really modernised so if you're looking for more of a city vibe it's the perfect place to stay for a week or two. Plus the city NEVER sleeps!! 😀
I really feel you on the 'don't just go to the capital' part for my country too. when people go to the netherlands they almost always seem to go to Amsterdam, while people I know that have been to Utrecht say it's a lot better than Amsterdam
Thailand was the first... the most adventurous so far has been travelling to Japan on my own. That took some balls and was a bit scary at first but once I took the plunge it was an amazing experience to travel around Japan. I really like your vids.. keep it up mate 😎
I'm from the Philippines and I agree with what you said about going in the PH. It's true that it's getting better now though with scams in the airport. A total nature adventure if you go in the Philippines.
Surprisingly when I went to Vietnam almost everyone I met did not speak English. However, the Vietnamese are so friendly and accommodating that it wasn't a problem.
First destination for me was BULGARIA! I'm from Spain but I was living in Italy at the moment. huge language barrier with smaller shops and restaurants but everything else was great. Can't wait to go further ✈✈
My first place I travelled to was Norway. Fantastic country with a beautiful landscape and nice and clean cities. Almost everybody could understand and speak english, so no language problems here. And the people were really helpful too. Public transport is quite good with busses, but a bit more expensive. So is the beer. They have a high tax on alcohol. But all in all I really loved it there and it got me into wanting to travel a lot more. :)
I guess that is from your own personal experience. I would add UAE, Jordan & Lebanon. English is easily spoken everywhere, tourism is their major contribution to their economy, good infrastructure, different landscapes across the areas, and very "easy to accommodate" kinda culture. tho it could be a bit expensive.
I stayed in UAE on holiday for a little over a month and yes, the country is amazing! but not really recommended for budget backpackers since prices are quite expensive, like food and accommodations.
Been watching travel videos for like a year and i've wanted to travel solo so bad... and yesterday I booked a flight to Hong Kong!! Still in shock kind of, after Hong Kong I've booked a flight to Bangkok and then the rest I'll make up as I go! I cannot wait!
In the Nordic countries, basically everyone speaks English fluently, and a lot of the times they don't even have an accent (especially Sweden). And there's no culture shock (I think) and the transportation system is great! The capitals are not that big but still have a lot of museums and stuff like that. If you want more "adventures", there's a lot of beautiful nature, mountains, Nordic lights and even volcanos (in Iceland) It's a bit expensive, especially in Norway, but it's not too bad.
you only go to manila to test your patience and inner warrior.. i know.. i live there. explore the islands, palawan, bohol, boracay, the mountains, sagada, banaue
1st place I travelled without family was Hong Kong. It's familiar enough to not be completely shocking but gives you the option to go fairly exotic. My friend referred to it as "Asia For Dummies". I didn't find it particularly expensive either?
Don't forget to visit Indonesia. You can spend like a week to explore more about culture, foods, etc... Just give me a hit when you guys go to Indonesia, I'd love to show you around... Please, it's not that I ask you for money, We love meeting new people from around the world!!! Greeting from Indonesia!
As an American, I would say the exact same thing about New York City and California that you said about London. So many foreigners have only ever been to those two places and they are missing out on so many cool cities. D.C., Miami, Houston, Savannah, Boston, the entire state of Vermont, national parks in Wyoming, Utah, Montana, South Dakota etc. There is so many better things to see in the United States than the gray buildings of New York City... trust me.
Really great list! I think other places that are the big cities of glitz and glam - Dubai (yes I know there is a whole other side to the UOI outside of Dubai), Singapore and Hong Kong but yeah not too much culture shock compared to many places. Each successful rich global city with different vibes (HK is EASILY my fave of the three though). TAIWAN is also good though not a lot of English out in the countryside and less English compared to many of these places. Very warm people though and very developed!
Now that you've been to India, and courtesy your vlog, I got to see many places in my own country for the first time; how would you recommend it to first time travellers? As for me, on my first solo travel, I want to explore my country first.. in all its length, width and depth!! It's so diverse, so culturally rich, and full of surprises.. so, before going out, I will take my time knowing India :) I've been following you from the past month, you are one high spirited traveller!
I just booked my first solo trip, 2 weeks in Bangkok. Any advice and/or suggestions? I wanna go see Phuket, go to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat, and get a Sak Yant tattoo, other than that I"m open to pretty much everything :)
Shane Peterson me too 3 weeks in May I can't wait from Canada 🇨🇦 also I want to see the Temples learn more about the culture. If u have not booked all your stays try Agoda and eDreams for flights within Thailand I picked up some great deals
If you go to the Phils for the first time, if you need to stop over to Manila, I suggest dont book your hotel to old Manila instead book your hotel somewhere in Makati, Bonifacio Global City, or on new Manila bay area MOA area. Then go to Palawan, Cebu,Bohol Davao etc.Just avoid some areas in Mindanao like Sulu or Basilan. With present administration, its more safer to travel in the Phils.
First ever place visited was new york then i lived there for awhile the moved back to my homeland for a few yrs then went to california and been living here since then. In america Ive traveled the southwest,, northwest, midwest, van city canada, in europe portugal, spain, france, rome, in the crazy middle east jordan, israel, palestinian controlled jerusalem as well, asia japan many times - airport only for a stop over but i like the airport lol, philippines metro manila, cavite, taal, tarlac, baguio, puerto princesa palawan, boracay, and one time in catanduanes
I highly recommend to visit China since you are an experienced traveller. China Mainland is the Central Far East, China adapted a little of each culture from other Asian countries. There are many changes going on everyday in China, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Most importantly, it’s very safe to travel in China. I’m sure you met many Chinese in your trips but you will see the “real Chinese” and experience differently.
Hey Aly! I started watching your videos since your Mauritius vlog series. I'm a native English speaker but I can also speak German and French fluently. Dad is from Cape Town and mom is from Mauritius. I'm currently in Reunion Island for my studies (to improve my French as well) and I'm planning to head to Germany for my Erasmus over summer :) It's gonna be my first time in Europe haha I wanted to ask you a quick question: Do you know if I can apply for a Working Holiday VISA even if i'm not from the EU? - I tried several websites but none seem to be giving a clear explanation about non-EU people willing to get a working holiday visa for countries like AUS or NZ. Thank you xxx :) - Dylan
NapsterFS okay so I'm a French girl that is going to reunion island and Mauritius for the summer! And I know that locals, or people that actually lived there, have good tips for travellers! so do you have any place or things to do that you recommend??
Haha nice to hear! I have been living on Reunion Island for 2.5 years now - I study Economics at the university here. I usually make round trips after each semester to Mauritius to visit family & friends. Speaking about places of interest, I do have a looooong list :P I have absolutely no clue if TH-cam will allow me to post the links but if we can get in touch somehow through which I could send you everything that would be great :) - For how long are you staying in the surroundings? :P
+Sonchik007 Yeah it's kinda annoying when it comes to travelling around while not being a non-EU citizen and/or part of any sorts of agreements between the countries. I will figure it out though - thanks for your response! Have a great day ahead! :)
the first time that I got out of France was when I was four! it was in Marrakech, morroco and this is definitely a trip I would advise you to do! I went there 4 times and I still love it!!
Jeanne a I'm thinking about going to Morocco on a surf trip, around Thagzout area, but I would go alone and I have heard SOO many bad things from women who went there travelling solo about harassment and so many men approaching you and getting angrz when ignoring them. Did you go there solo or with somebody else? And what are your experiences with the Morrocan men? And do you have any advise for women going there solo?
Imane Tabza Thanks for your advice! Luckily I still have some time to decide. (one and a half year 'til I finish school). I'll probably go there anyway 'cause it's one of the places that seem really interesting because of culture and of course the great waves:) Might not go there as my first trip though
I only went to Marrakech but I can tell you that there, I wasn't being harassed at all, but that might be because I was always with my mum at least, and she will not le t herself be disrespected so...
First time traveller should really give Singapore a try. Our main language is English and we are known for our diverse cuisine and culture. There are lots of things to explore here in Singapore and it is very easy to go around by public transports. Besides, it is one of the top safest countries in the world. :)
Singapore is a Mega City within a very small country, its like going to Tokyo but with less personality and thats it, sure there are a few touristy attractions like Universal Studios and Gardens by the Bay, but aside from that.. Marina Bay Sands? Clarke Quay? Sentosa? meh. honestly most people come there to work since Singapore employees earn the most compared to other countries in South East Asia. shopping is expensive! food, aside from not being that good is also expensive! so why would tourists go there? specially global backpackers on a budget. if I was looking to spend more in Asia Id rather go to Seoul or Tokyo, even HK!
Hey there i watch your videos a lot and im a vlogger like you and i hope you dont mind but i tell people that watch videos to go check you out if thats ok just wanted to check with you i think you are great and wish you to prosper!! keep up the great work girl!!!!
Great video as usual. If you don't have one could you make a video of how to plan a trip for those that don't have a clue please. From A to Z as in all the steps like how to get a passport, how to get a visa, what kind of visa to get. What flights and how to book it, what kinds f things you can not take with you to other countries. What things you shouldn't bother taking with you. What clothing to pack. You see where I'm going with this lol kind of travel for dummies lol.
Great video! However, what about Laos? I've got the feeling that Laos is often combined with Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, what do you think about that?
The only issue with Australia is the hostels, in my opinion they are 20 years behind the standards of the rest of the world. I was there in 2001 and again this year, I was so shocked they were so backwards! Love NZ! Buy a van in Auckland and sell it in Christchurch!
All of these Southeast Asian Countries are still developing excpept Singapore. And for those people out there bashing SEA Countries (especially Philippines) Philippines is actually growing fast. Lmao i cant even say anything when a malaysian talk shit to Philippines cause Malaysia is still a Third World Country just like the other SEA Countries. And stop hating people cause hating wont help.
why would you call someone working for another country a slave? like its a right thing, but its a no no. What are you 12 BC? And "FYI TOO" Philippines has the highest rate of Unemployement of SEA. Thats why many of Filipinos works abroad."FYI" we call them OFWS or known as "OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS" "FYI". This is why Filipinos are hardworkers but the government is still trying to split or "corruption" is still relevant in the Philippines. WHy choose Malaysia? "FYI" There are only less OFWS in Malaysia. Most of the FIlipinos are in "UAE". ;)
Well, the first time I ever travelled outside of Germany and Turkey would probably be England but that was a school trip. The first time I ever travelled on my own plus moved to a whole new place on my own was China. It was actually fine. I didn't have culture shock because I realized that it was very similar to the culture in Turkey :'D But I think for many people China can be a challenge
my first travelling adventure was to Malaysia I loved everything about it. The people are incredibly proud of their country and so they should be. I can't wait to take my family
Leanne Digby glad you loved Malaysia! :-) come again!
Leanne Digby Malaysia loves you too! 😘
I fly to Malaysia next week. Yaaaassss!!!

Can you please please also do a video on countries to go for a culture shock?? :D
Try syria
Russia excepting Moscow and Petersburg - deep shocking for a reasonable price)
Afghanistan
Why do you people have to be like that? Of course, I am aware that those countries do not live under the same conditions as we do, to say the least, but I didn't mean to insult anyone or sth! calm down!
Def Japan
I'm from Canada and my very first trip alone abroad was to Ireland. Fantastic country!
langtongirl where did you go exactly?
I'm going to Thailand in 4 weeks, my first ever trip alone, second trip ever, so nervous but excited!! Your videos have helped me prepare a lot!!!

PRAGUE! Public transportation is phenomenal. Food is cheap. Beer is cheep. Absolutely gorgeous sights. I pretty much spoiled myself going there first.

Taylor Aylett if you ever come to England I'd love to show you round my area ❤
I would love that! England is high on my bucket list

I am currently in new zealand and I love it *-* I wish I never had to return back home, but I have to do so... :/
Where about in NZ? I'm thinking of going!
Enya definitely come and visit New Zealand ! I live in Auckland. I would recommend travel both islands to see Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown 😊

+MynameisJessie thanks, but I am already back in auckland as I have to leave next week... :(
Enya Is this comment a joke? I've read it 3 times now on this video hahaha
I so agree with getting out of London. I'm an American and spent a summer doing an archeology dig in Yorkshire. It's such an amazing area.
Love Yorkshire!
PsychoTraveller it reminds me of the Yorkshire Ripper..
April D. How did you get the chance to do that ? I plan on visiting Yorkshire too !

Also, you work before you travel so it's such a good set up to ease in to independent travelling and has given me so much confidence :-)
If u have the skills do a summer camp.. it's more than just working with kids too !! Now I have a south east Asia trip booked with my best friend I met out there
Have you been to India? It was super cheap and one can also get by very easily with English.
I'm a first time traveler 😃 thanks for adding this
Yeahhhh I'm so happy you actually mentioned Warwick and Warwick Castle! Lived there for four years :D
the first place I visited on my own was the UK (London and Cambridge) and I'll be in Thailand on my own in April! :) I'm kinda nervous but sooo happy that I will finally see something else than Europe
Iris Doeven how was it?
As someone local to Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon, I can definitely recommend it, especially in the summer.
my cup of tea. I'm starting to think about planning my 1st solo trip. I need as much advice as I can get.
Welcome to Malaysia, Essence of Asia :-)
Agree with the get out of London - so much of the U.K. was amazing and we saw so little. Hopefully will move there one day!
BRILLIANT photo of the Queen in there. On point. ;)
Stay on both coast.....East/West in the US, skip South and Midwest.
Thank you so much for this video!
I really feel you on the 'don't just go to the capital' part for my country too. when people go to the netherlands they almost always seem to go to Amsterdam, while people I know that have been to Utrecht say it's a lot better than Amsterdam
At first glance I thought this said "perfect destinations for time travelers"
Tehe.
This was so helpful! I've been trying to plan a good first time solo travel trip
Thailand was the first... the most adventurous so far has been travelling to Japan on my own. That took some balls and was a bit scary at first but once I took the plunge it was an amazing experience to travel around Japan. I really like your vids.. keep it up mate 😎
South Africa is also a good option. It's affordable, beautiful and most people here speak and understand English 👍
Great video, thank you for posting!
Warwickshire is amazing. I spent 4 years there studying and within that duration, I probably went to Warwick Castle more than 10 times!
I first traveled to Germany and had a great time
I'm from the Philippines and I agree with what you said about going in the PH. It's true that it's getting better now though with scams in the airport. A total nature adventure if you go in the Philippines.
Surprisingly when I went to Vietnam almost everyone I met did not speak English. However, the Vietnamese are so friendly and accommodating that it wasn't a problem.
Thank you for loving the Philippines. 😘❤️
I am sooo glad I stumbled across you're channel Thank you for making me feel more comfortable to solo travel 😭❤
First solo trip Amsterdam before that a cruise covering Italy and France
I guess that is from your own personal experience. I would add UAE, Jordan & Lebanon. English is easily spoken everywhere, tourism is their major contribution to their economy, good infrastructure, different landscapes across the areas, and very "easy to accommodate" kinda culture. tho it could be a bit expensive.
I stayed in UAE on holiday for a little over a month and yes, the country is amazing! but not really recommended for budget backpackers since prices are quite expensive, like food and accommodations.
very informative! love your videos!!
My first country was 12 weeks in Sierra Leone. didn't think it would be on this list.
Been watching travel videos for like a year and i've wanted to travel solo so bad... and yesterday I booked a flight to Hong Kong!! Still in shock kind of, after Hong Kong I've booked a flight to Bangkok and then the rest I'll make up as I go! I cannot wait!
That's so exciting! :D
I travelled the East coast of America by myself on the grey hound bus and it worked out pretty well :P
In the Nordic countries, basically everyone speaks English fluently, and a lot of the times they don't even have an accent (especially Sweden). And there's no culture shock (I think) and the transportation system is great! The capitals are not that big but still have a lot of museums and stuff like that. If you want more "adventures", there's a lot of beautiful nature, mountains, Nordic lights and even volcanos (in Iceland)
It's a bit expensive, especially in Norway, but it's not too bad.
i cant believe you list malaysia behing cambodia and vietnam..
you only go to manila to test your patience and inner warrior.. i know.. i live there.
explore the islands, palawan, bohol, boracay, the mountains, sagada, banaue
1st place I travelled without family was Hong Kong. It's familiar enough to not be completely shocking but gives you the option to go fairly exotic. My friend referred to it as "Asia For Dummies". I didn't find it particularly expensive either?
I did Bali, Gilis, Nusa islands and Lombok for my first time. what an amaizing experience!❤ up next: Vietnam!
Dear your a great vlogger, Thank you for the great videos
Best advice just go and travel light.
Very warm people though and very developed!
this was a great video, really helpful
Now that you've been to India, and courtesy your vlog, I got to see many places in my own country for the first time; how would you recommend it to first time travellers? As for me, on my first solo travel, I want to explore my country first.. in all its length, width and depth!! It's so diverse, so culturally rich, and full of surprises.. so, before going out, I will take my time knowing India :)
I've been following you from the past month, you are one high spirited traveller!
The Philippines!😊👌👍❤
I love your videos!!! I'm going on my first solo trip this December to Europe and have some questions SOS
Shane Peterson Me too traveling to Thailand for two weeks in April.
I'm currently in Reunion Island for my studies (to improve my French as well) and I'm planning to head to Germany for my Erasmus over summer :) It's gonna be my first time in Europe haha
I wanted to ask you a quick question: Do you know if I can apply for a Working Holiday VISA even if i'm not from the EU? - I tried several websites but none seem to be giving a clear explanation about non-EU people willing to get a working holiday visa for countries like AUS or NZ.
Thank you xxx :)
- Dylan
NapsterFS You have to find the list of the countries entitled to do so, because they change it every year by adding new countries.
The same for me, really annoying. But hopefully they will do more open borders one day ;)
the first time that I got out of France was when I was four! it was in Marrakech, morroco and this is definitely a trip I would advise you to do!
Jeanne a Okay thank you!
ahh j'ai trop envie d'y aller!! L'architecture semble tres belle...J'ai été à Grenade en Espagne à l'Alhambra et on se croirait au Maroc ^^
First time traveller should really give Singapore a try. Our main language is English and we are known for our diverse cuisine and culture. There are lots of things to explore here in Singapore and it is very easy to go around by public transports. Besides, it is one of the top safest countries in the world. :)
Ashley JT expensive
Ashley JT Singapore sucks
Ashley JT but its very expensive bro not good for the firts time no offence brother✌🏻
How do you feel about trying to speak foreign languages whilst travelling verses just speaking english.
I am surprised that you didn't even mention Singapore - the safest city in the world - nor Hong Kong.
bushyconn Singapore and Hong Kong is too urban and doesn't have any nature
expensive bruh..
Yea surprised singapore is not in the list, isn't sg an even easier place to travel to?
French speakers might like New Caledonia, though it is a very long way from France.
Im from Australia and I'm trying to think where i should go for my first time with a budget.
You see where I'm going with this lol kind of travel for dummies lol.
my first time traveling alone wes to China. it Was scary and exaiting but it did go realy well!
I will travel internationally for the first time this summer I'm going to Iceland
Have you ever considered visiting South Africa?? Hailing in from Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Many countries in Africa speak English, French, plus the traditional language of a specific tribe.
Great continent to visit & full of tradition.
Most of the FIlipinos are in "UAE". ;)
ChoiShino TV wait is your country perfect cause duh lmao. I wont argue with low minded people 😉. I dont want to land on your level 😌
ChoiShino TV and Philippines is the 6th Rising Tiger of SEA 😉 omygad I though youre an adult but still you have an Immature brain mygad people lmao.
I love traveling to countries where they don't speak english. For me that's what it's all about :)
Nice advice. The best travel book and resource are "Rick Steve's' guide books . I've been using them for years , simple, and great.
