Combining SolidSteel parametric & SOLIDWORKS functions to design a snowflake shaped steel structure

Of course, this is our Christmas video and the construction of snowflakes is a rather unusual task.
Nevertheless, even in this video you can see how fast steel designs can be made with SolidSteel parametric for SOLIDWORKS.
For the design from HE-B 240 profiles, SolidSteel standard functions such as beams on lines, the end plate function, face cut, profile cut and welded assemblies were combined with the SOLIDWORKS patterns function to achieve the desired result. Real time for the design was 2.5 minutes. For the Christmas video the process (by the way, no cuts in the video) was only slightly sped up.
