Phil Sgrosso comments: "The initial idea to create a deluxe version stemmed from leftover material written for the Shaped By Fire album. Some of it was re-purposed for b-sides and several tracks were used for the live show exclusively, until now.
More recently we had an interest to recreate 'My Own Grave' into a more stripped-down/orchestral version inspired by the 90’s "Unplugged" era that we all grew up with. We also became interested in a new version for 'Redefined', incorporating a more heavy electronic element. The live versions for 'Blinded' and 'My Own Grave' were captured on our last European tour in Munich, which was one of our biggest and high-energy shows to date.
For the first time ever, we’ve released an instrumental album version to showcase the musical aspect. Just like when we’re writing initial demos, the music is step one in captivating the listener’s attention so the intricacies and details of the music are a little more prevalent here.
It was a fun experience to breathe some new life back into Shaped By Fire. We’re all very proud of this album and are always encouraged by our fans’ support and enthusiasm for new AILD music over the past 20 years."

This band is literally my childhood. I grew up listening to their music. This was the genre I enjoyed before I got into EDM and all that new generation dance music. Metal is where it’s at.. literally the best genre.
My favorite is Phil Sgrosso he is so beautiful and when he tosses his hair forward, beautiful straight black silky strands.. .so in love. 😍😘🔥

Back 2 years ago, when I got news about they want to perform here in Malaysia, before Covid-19, I was like... please make it happen. And now, I'm sitting in front of my computer and watching their live hoping that they come here. Tim and Josh's voice, omaigawd!

I saw these guys twice in 2008. They were in support of Bullet for My Valentine and on the Taste of Chaos tour with Atreyu and Story of the Year. I was vaguely aware of them before then but I've been a fan since, and it is an absolute pleasure to hear how crisp they still are live. Massive respect

i am thinking that it was not on good terms that Nick left, so that could be the reason and/or he asked to not be shown etc

I was going go say the same thing. Only guitar close ups were Phil. As was already said clearly Nick didn’t leave on good terms. It seemed as though he felt the toxicity that existed before Tim’s incarceration was starting to creep back in. He said as much when he left. His statement was tactful but truthful, the band was slow to release a statement of their own, and I think in this video they had an opportunity to pay tribute to him and that they didn’t speaks volumes to their feelings toward what he said. In fact, maybe it is just my imagination, but around 0:20 there are some faint noises panned to the right speaker that sound somewhat like baby cries, and it seems like live Nick usually stood on that side of the stage. Someone correct me if you know what that noise really is.
This is a video from there last tour so nick was there, but hear me out cuz I’m not taking sides I’m just a fan who loves this band and they helped me through so much. Anyways, I read both statements on Nicks exit, let’s say Tim did stick to his guns and is doing all the things he needs to for his own redemption, who’s to say Nick wasn’t way to over critical.
Ive followed this band since day one so I’ve seen all the footage fake or not, I wouldn’t be surprised if post video of them getting back together who’s to say Nick wasn’t watching Tim like a Hawk 24/7 some people when they are done wrong there just isn’t any going back and that may be the case here. The band wished Nick well but he blatantly did not want any part of AILD anymore and the others did, so technically why would he be in this video? Of course he could but we don’t know all there story behind stage.
AILD is a band a big band so when it comes to public communication I’m sure there is a PR person involved and also the minds of the remaining band members, Nicks statement though well said could have hurt some feelings of the other guys, so I’m sure they wanted to talk it over before responding. Nick had a whole year and said nothing to no one, AILD kept on being AILD what else you want from em lol. I truly want to believe in a person’s redemption, I have my own story so it means a lot to me and many others. I wish Nick well because I love the dude I look up to everyone in the band. I half wish Nick to come back lol. Also don’t forget though Phil writes most of the jams guitar wise, so Phil is getting his deserved shine time also. Much love everyone!
