Oh yeah, these videos are gonna be playing all day while I make tumblers. Lol. I'm making them for my family for the holidays. Along with a little note about how many plastic bottles are saved annually by using the cup. And of course a metal straw. Lol
This is my first time watching one of you videos…. I’m doing lots of research to start my own business … and I just want to say I went to your website and I LOVE you glitter selection 🥰🙌 you’ve definitely been added to the list of places I will be getting glitter supplies from … you color selection is sooooo frickin amazing! 🥰🥰🥰
just wanted to hop on here i say how much i appreciate this video. After watching this video i decided to expand my recently started small business to add tumblers. Now I absolutely love doing them. thank you so much for talking on this video and answering all of the questions that i had.
I found the video when I was searching on how to do tumblers. I noticed that you said that you use white most of the time. I have been watching a lot of videos and someone else said that as well. That is very cost effective. Thanks for the information and very informative tutorial.
Randomly found your channel, I just prayed (sanded and resprayed cuz im clumsy) my very first tumbler while watching your video.... Im so excited to learn how to make tumblers and make them as pretty as yours! Feelin like imma need that hummingbird glitter!
I so appreciate you taking the time and explaining the different methods and techniques. I feel so much more confident in knowing all this. I even got me a few dump cups going with different shades. Thank you. This tutorial really helped me decide how to tackle different ideas I have.
I'm just now starting to make tumblers, getting my spinner today actually lol, and I have been looking for glitter for them. I will definitely be looking up your glitter.
I'm watching you for the first time it's 9:44ish here in DETROIT MI Sunday May 8th (HAPPY MOTHERS DAY) And you just said my name twice @ Kelí, I was just checking you out to see if I wanted to SUB or not then you said hi 👋🏽 so hi love... or as we say here in tha "D" WHATUPDOE?? 👋🏽😁😍... It's a definite YES for me.
So happy I found your Channel! Going to start making my own for a hobby and you inspire me so much! I will DEFINITELY be ordering some of your glitter along with your diy turner kit and I just may have to throw in a cup as well🥰 I love supporting small businesses 🤍
Just found your channel which lookin up Pink glitters. The color Hawt😍😍😍 And Pink Cadillac really compliments it. I HAVE to buy them and use them for SOMETHING😂
Awesome tip about base painting. Another tutorial I watched had done two side by side and decided base painting wasn’t necessary but their example was a teal blue.
I go to school at SHSU (Huntsville TX)!!! I want to make cups likes this but there is a lot more to it than I thought so I think I might just want to buy one of yours lol.
I actually prefer the look of your mod podge cup. The holographic look on the epoxy looks nice, but that straight blue shimmery swirl on the other one is beautiful.😍
Just wanted to say, Hi & Love your tumbler designs and the OU fleece is awesome. Daughter graduates from OU in spring. We are OU Sooner thru and thru😍.
Can you do a video on mixing the epoxy, best brands, etc. ?? I’m having trouble with my epoxy separating! Especially on just paint cups (without glitter).
New to cups. I am confused. Maybe i have watched too many videos. I followed a video that said use loctite to get glitter to adhere, then polyurethane over that and then epoxy. I kind of love how you do epoxy and glitter on that and then i assume epoxy again after first has cured. Can you help clear up the confusion I’m having. Is there advantage to any one process. Also i am originally from Houston :-). Miss it. Now in NC.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I mix the epoxy just like you said. I figured it was to cold in my garage so I brought it in my house. Checked the temperature it was 72, I still get fish eyes, I'm so 😠 frustrated. Am I using a crappy epoxy?
I did a tumbler and there is a little tiny place on it that didn't get any epoxy and you can see down to the spray paint. Do I have to strip it or can I just put another coat on to cover that spot up? I sure hope it's possible because I hate the thought of stripping it. I'm a newbie to all this and want to make sure I do things right.
Yes you totally can! I have done it multiple times for different effects. Especially with rainbow or iridescent glitter. You can make that glitter change colors based on the base color
So glad I found your tutorials! I am going to start to attempt to make my own cups (for my personal use not sales) would love to try your video out and I noticed you do a first responder discount, We are an emergency service family! (firefighter/EMT) Thank you for that offer!!! I'd love to try it out with a code
Thank you for your detailed info. Looking forward to more. My daughter is starting a tumbler business. I'll be helping her get started. I love your personal cup it's sooo beautiful.
Thank you so much for this. I bought 20 green plastic tumblers at Christmas Tree Shops for 50 cents each and was wondering what I could do with these for sale. Now I know I could make awesome Christmas designs. Thanks again!!
Tumbler TV, very cool. I’d love to take you to lunch some day. I really believe in supporting independent small businesses and especially local businesses. Let me know if you’d like to meet up for lunch or even coffee.
I just watched your tutorial and have seen other people sand the epoxy....you don't sand it? If you do sand it what grit sandpaper do you use? Thank you~Carrie
I will sand the epoxy if there are any rough spots. Otherwise I use a sanding sponge because to me it is easier to grip around edges. 12 Pack Sanding Sponge,Sackorange Coarse/Medium/Fine/Superfine 6 Different Specifications Sanding Blocks Assortment,Washable and Reusable www.amazon.com/dp/B07P782FTM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_IMB.FbNK08559
I just started out doing my 1st cup and I already kno I messed up. I also do not have a tuner. Where is the best place to get one without losing my arm and leg? And is there anything else to seal the cup with besides epoxy?
So on the dump cup do you put epoxy on top of the mod podg when it's done drying ? Wanting to start making cups so any info would be greatly appreciated
i am a beginner but let me say that i do appreciate your video and learned alot . i just want to make sure if i epoxy, glitter, then epoxy again to seal or do you just epoxy, glitter and you are done??? Thank you
