- कहानी- घीसी बाई का सपना
मृणाल पाण्डे की इस कहानी में रूढ़िवादी सोच और बाल विवाह पर कटाक्ष किया गया है| पत्थर तोड़ती घीसी के सपने बहुत बड़े हैं| बचपन में ब्याह दी गई घीसी गाँववालों के तानों के बीच अपनी बेटी की भविष्य बनाने में लगी हुई है| एक तरफ जहाँ वो अपने पागल पति को संभालती है वहीं बेटी को पढ़ा लिखाकर बड़ा बनाने का सपना देखती है| उसकी सोच शिक्षा से समाज बदलने की है|

I just saw your comment after I had commented and was baffled at how someone else too knew this. Glad to know you here as well. I was also thinking that I had seen this lady somewhere and then in the middle of the telefilm I realised, then commented as I saw her name wasn't mentioned in the end credits.
