@@BeeSideProject thanks for being so open about your tuning and showing what you play, it's so helpful to us who try and fail to not suck. Any reason you wouldn't just dadgad without the capo? If this is a stupid question I won't begrudge you ignoring it.
@@rockyevans1584 totally legit question. I started playing the song dadgad'd with no capo, and I thought that it would be hard for me to sing it that way, so I lowered everything half a tone down, you know, just to be sure to get comfortable. Tried to sing, it was ok enough. Then I said, well let's try and verify whether I really can't sing it half tone up or not. To get the answer quick, I just put a capo there, first fret. I noticed I could manage to sing the song that way as well. But I was too lazy to re-tune the whole thing as it was before, and I also had not much time left to make the video, I had to get back at work. Maybe this is just an excuse for lazyness. Don't know. Anyway, I just kept everything as it was, pressed rec and made the video straight away.
@@BeeSideProject haha can relate, that makes sense. Appreciate you and your content sir, is " La Torre" and the album it's on original music? Powerful stuff either way, love your style!
@@rockyevans1584 La Torre and all those songs belong to Franco Battiato's "L'Arca di Noè" album, 1992. I re-arranged the music and kept only the lyrics and main melody lines as they were in Battiato's original work. Thank you so much for following my (little) music stuff 😀
